Mums of little boys

how do you clean their mini manhood? Have read two different books now that says you should gently pull back the foreskin and clean and and another says there is no need, is this an age thing?
Reason I ask is hubby had to have an op very early on as he had a problem down there and ended up being cirumcised at about 6 and he has no idea what is right or wrong can anyone help I dont see Hv till next week.

At the mo all I do is wipe his bits down in the bath and when changing him

I top and tail charley every night before bed with water and cotton wool so everything gets a good clean but I don't touch his foreskin! I wouldn't have a clue what I'm doing with that bit!!

I was told never to pull back my LO's foreskin by the nurse when I was getting the papers done for us being discharged.. I never have, when he's in the bath I just wash all around, but never touch it then either x

same here. I read in a book to NEVER pull their foreskin back. I make sure i clean Jacks area well everyday. Not much more you can do x

I wipe him everytime I change his bum but I never pull back his foreskin. Same when I bath him, just clean him but leave foreskin alone.

Same, I actually read that their foreskins are attached, not like when they are older and it takes until they are 4 or 5 until it would actually pull back properly.

i got told never to pull it back as it comes away on its own when they're about 3 i think.

Not got my LO here yet and dont know the sex but changed my 5 day old nephews pooey nappy yesterday and found it strange having a willy in there...only used to girls so far! But she was also told not to pull anything around just clean surrounding areas xx

I was like that! Our family only has girls! My sister held Seb at Christmas and she was like 'what do you do with THAT!' lol (she was only mesing btw) x

ha I know it was alien to me Helen lol!! I remember my sis having her first boy when I was only little and she was using cloth nappies and stuck it right through his willy! Poor thing she soon changed to disposables! xx

Owwwwwww! Poor thing!

I was so excited to be the first in our family to have a boy! Think my dad nearly did back flips!
