I was up ill all night and watched 2 episodes of this show from 4-5 am..

How spoiled are these kids?!?! Their parents spend tens of thousands of pounds on their kids' 16th birthday parties, giving them everything they demand, then give them an $85,000 car at the end, and they aren't even old enough to drive!! I don't think they even said thank you..

It's a disgrace - These children run around swearing their heads off and throwing fits if their $2000 dresses don't have enough crystals on them ffs!!

Makes me sick..only in America, eh?

thats the thing though, not just in USA. they also do My sweet sixteen UK, and its just as bad :( Its like the prom thing, comeover from the US. I hate it, as there is such a pressure on your children getting all the latest thing and whilst we will definately not be spoiling the girls, I don't want them to want stuff because their friends have it

if I had that kind of money I wouldn't be buying Evie expensive cars and stupidly extravagant dresses! My parents made me work for everything (not hard- just little things like if I want a new pair of jeans I had to help my mum with the ironing or something like that). It taught me that you don't always ger given things and if you are given something you should be grateful.

 One thing I will be teaching Evie when she's older. Manners and a good work ethic are really important and despite having a lot of money these kids don't have either. :x

OMG, they have it here aswell? It makes me want to yell at the TV!! Ella's not having a sweet sixteen, even if her friends do! I'd love to give her everything she'd ever want but even if I had the money, I wouldn't do it because manners and respect are so much more important to me, and I want her to grow up with the same attitude, like I did.

I've watched this a few times. My god, for my 16th we had a BBQ and a bonfire, had about 6 people round and it was great fun
