well have been trying for 5 and a half years and have had 6 losses at various stages in tri 1 and 2 and now I am moving to WTT for a while, probably a year. I have been suffering with cervical changes for years (hence the urge to conceive quick) and last month they removed a section of my cervix and they found cancerous cells. Thankfully caught very very early thanks to regular checks and they (to the best of their knowledge) removed all the cells so I know I am extremely lucky. But I am being given 6 months of treatment just to make sure it is all gone and I am not allowed to ttc during nor for several months after! But I need to make myself as healthy as I can to give me the best chances of being a mummy :D Just wanted to introduce myself to this section. And well just to kinda get it off my chest. Not really telling anyone about it as well... I don't know why, just feel like I shouldn't. Here is to WTT and getting healthy :D xx

Hello lovely Fairycake

First of all I am really sorry for your losses, I feel for you. Welcome to this lovely group, it is filled with good natured, funny firecrackers who are always up for a good banter. We can be serious as well. Oh, who am I kidding .

Although it must have been an awful shock to find out about your cervical issues it is great that it was caught early and the one year wait sounds very sensible. You'll see it'll go fast as long as you focus on other things. One of the posts is about listing your years worth of things to do, you should try it, it's fun. :flower:

Hey there Fairycake, welcome to our crazy little group

Im so sorry to hear of what you have been through the last few years, I honestly cant imagine how tough it has been for you :hugs: Kat is right, we are here for you at any time and for anything you need to get off your chest, no matter how big or small, we all pull together and provide support for each other.

Thats good news that they have caught the cervical cancer early, and they are providing ongoing treatment afterwards too, your health is most important especially when TTC. A lot of us in this section are trying to get fit and healthy for when we TTC so that we can provide the best for our little bumps and babies
I have a hospital app next week for another smear as my last one had abnormal results :( so I hope they take good care of me, so that it can be resolved asap and I can continue to TTC later on this year.. I will keep you lovely ladies updated :)

I find that setting small goals helps with the time go quickly, such as planning a holiday, or setting weight loss goals, or giving up something for lent, or for a month, you will soon find you have things to occupy you most months and then hopefully before you know it, your time will be here

Hi fairycake, just wanted to say I'm sorry for your losses, and am wishing you the best for the future :)

Hello fairycake :)

Welcome to WTT! Sorry you've had a tough time of it!

But now you can focus on getting fit and healthy and well in anticipation of ttc again, and there's a good bunch of ladies in this section, all supportive and lovely!

Hi Fairycake

just wanted to say sorry fore all your losses..and honestly a year will fly by. Good luck for everything. xx

Thank you for all your kind responses <3

You are all right and after a small minor breakdown, due to finding out more info and reclassification, I am back to positivity and belief that a smile and laughter will keep me going :D
Am finding chemo really hard going but I knew it would be. I know I am very lucky so I keep my mind on that.
Have been talking to the macmillan nurses about my fertility options at the end and due to the fertility issues I am already suffering from I am preparing myself for the possible outcome that I may need to adopt (something I am very positive about) or go down the surrogacy route (something I flick between being positive about and being fearful of).
Either way I know I shall have my rainbow baby.... it just might take me a little longer to get to the end of the rainbow.

I hope all you ladies are doing well and I shall be around a lot more and look forward to getting to know you all more :D
