Morning sickness

Have any of you ladies been to the doctors about bad morning sickness early on in your pregnancy??

I'm 8 weeks + and for the last couple of days literally been house bound. My poor little one was so excited about going to meet some friends for a kick about on the field and I literally can't get up without feeling dizzy. I've had water and 2 squares of toast that have come straight back up. I managed a meal last night but feel so weak. When I'm being sick I'm seeing stars when I lift my head back up. I know it's all part of being pregnant but I can't cope. Cue the major meltdown, feel so emotional xx

sounds like a severe case of the Kate Middletons. You should defo go to the doctor's for some drugs (anti sickness drugs obvs) x

I would definitely go to the doctor - my sister in law's sister had hyperemesis last year and just kept thinking it would pass and she would be fine - she ended up in hospital on a drip three separate times and lost 24lbs in 8 weeks! You might be fine in a few days but you might not so better to get it checked x

I can echo this, unfortunately I have hyperemisis, I was bad at 6 weeks but by 10 I was dehydrated and hospitalised. If you are unable to tolerate food and feel physically weak go see the doctor they will test you for dehydration x hope u feel better soon x

Thank you glow! I have put up with it for as long as I can without ringing the doctor but after spending the night waking up to be sick then for it to continue when I woke up, I've broken down and waiting for the doctors to call me back. I've lost 8lbs in just over a week and can't keep anything down. It's making me so emotional!!! Xx

I was sick for 9 long months, morning noon and night.

Even with anti sickness tablets.

Pregnancy sucks sometimes.

Hope the doctors can help you and offer something to relive the symptoms. I've got horrible morning sickness but certainly not to the point I can't keep anythig down and waking in the night to be sick. Xx

Doctors gave me some tablets but only enough until beginning of next week so he can re-check how I'm doing. Haven't got them yet though as none of the pharmacies around me had it in stock!! So hoping I get a decent nights sleep before I need to try venture out to get them tomorrow xx

I tried 3 diff types in the end
If one doesn't work definitely request something else x

I've been given avomine, which seem to be knocking the edge off a little. I'm getting anxious they won't let me have anymore though!? I've got my booking apt on thurs which is when they will run out so going to speak to her then ring the doctors. I'm living off very little at the min! Xx
