Morning after pill DIDNT work

Hey all,

Just a post to let people know that the morning after pill doesn't always work.
I was using a condom and it didnt work so I took the morning after pill within 6 hours of this happening. I am now 3 months pregnant. I know it was definitely that night I got pregnant so there is now doubt that it didn't work. I wasn't sick or anything after taking the pill. I'm actually engaged and happy about the situation, just wasn't great timing but I thought I would let all you guys now in case the situation wouldn't be as good for you if the pill didnt work !

I had the MAP a couple of years ago now and i can remember not long after feeling sick and it turned out i was pregnant. My story didn't end that nice though and i had a miscariage at 13+ weeks .

not sure whether to congratulate you or not as you dont appear 100% thrilled lol.

if you are then wow congratulations, if that bean wants to stick it isnt going to budge lol

if your not thrilled, then i know how shocking it can be when its not something you plan and it still happens after being careful

My Sophia is the result of the MAP failing - very happy and wonderful thing in our case! I only took it as I had only had my son 2 1/2 months before by c section and unfortunately he died at 2 days old. I took it as I just thought it was too soon for another pregnancy, but my little girl is here safe and well

my friend used a condom and was on the pill, had been for a while.
and had a daughter! agaisnt all odds!

Bumble tumble - that's the same thing that happened to me. With an ex partner, we used condoms and I was on the pill and I got pregnant - don't ask me how lol. Ended in mc though.

Its weird that I got preggers while taking those steps to prevent it in '05, and it took 5 months of tryin before it happened this time around.

Lol I tell most people the MAP doesnt work My little Paige was just very eager to be made and Im proper happy she was. I took it about 12 hours after and had no sickness or anything but low and behold, 2 weeks later that little blue line. 2 years on I have a beautiful daughter.
