Anyone up for complication!?

hi girls, fishing for some help to ease my mind.

alright, i take the birth control pill but im not regular with timing it.
Last period was around feb 28th-march 3rd.(REMEMBER LEAP YEAR.so 4 day period)
I had an accidental period before that because i ran out of pills(so stupid haha) which was about the 12thfeb-16thfeb so i only had 14ish days between those two periods.

So 12-16feb= period
17-27 feb=taking the pill
28feb-3march=period
4-now(the 10th)=taking pill

heres my dilemma, i took the pill around 7am thursday the 8th.
completely forgot to take it at all day and night friday the 9th, and around 11am i had unprotected sex(smart hey?)
i still havent taken a pill since 7am thurs 8th.

About 6 hours after the sex, when i wipe my mucous is thick clear and stretchy which is rare for me....ovulating?
I have no idea whether to keep taking the pill or not coz if im pregnant its pointless and i dont wanna cause harm. or i feel like if i stop taking it i will just get my period? im kinda feeling a little heavy down in the abdomen right now too.

well the main question is COULD i be pregnant based on my situation? and what should i do about the pill??

Best way to decide is to take FRER and FMU if it's a BFP and you don't want to try for a baby yet, carry on taking the pill

If she was pregnant but not ready for a baby I don't see why the answer would be to continue taking the pill. Repeated studies have shown the pill does not harm a foetus and it certainly won't abort a pregnancy even in the very early stages!

However, it's good advice to take a test. If you have unprotected sex without knowing which stage of your cycle you're at, there's always a chance you can get pregnant. That said, it often takes a while to start ovulating again after taking the pill do there's probably a good chance you're in the clear

Try a test? I remember you had this issue last year maybe try the implant if you have trouble taking your pill. Good luck to you what ever the outcome x

thanks i think thats always the way, theres always a chance we could be pregnant but we always feel worried and we crave reassurance asap. You are right, i just need to be patient and wait to take a test. do you know when i can take the test?
also when my time comes to take the sugar pills to go on my period, i wont get my period if i am pregnant right?

so ive just gone to the loo and theres blood but not alot, just a little? and im not due for two weeks +??

i fell pregnant on the pill with my son when i was 16!!!!
the blood could be because youve stopped taking the pill though x

Something similar happened to me and the docs told me to take a test in 14 days from the day of sex if period hasn't arrived. By then, if you are pregnant, it will show on a test. Good luck

yes linx thats what i was thinking, though last time i stopped taking it for a day or so i got my full period even though i was still taking the pill, this 'spotting' just went for a few hours. haha they make this gig complicated dont they!

i think you were right about the bleeding being from not taking the pill, but i have been taking it normally now, and no bleeding, then today i have a tiny bit of blood in my underwear, and ive been taking the pill properly ever since. its been 7 days since that time we had sex. any idea what that could be? XO

Hi girls,

Might be posting in the wrong place but I'm totally confused at the moment. Been trying for a baby for about 4 months and nothing as of yet been using ovulation sticks but doesn't seem to be helping. This month decided to ditch the sticks and see how it goes, had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago and Im starting to feel a bit strange. I'm peeing a lot more, have sore,itchy nipples and have a very strong metal taste in my mouth!! Anything u reckon or am I being paranoid?? Xx
