I am trying so hard. I still feel excited and starting to wonder if my boobs are slightly tender atm?? I hope so. I would give anything to have sore boobs now! Do you get any results back this week? Any signs of the medication starting things off? X

Haha I can give u my sore boobs! Remember symptoms mean nothing altho I no they r reassuring. I’m not allowed to take the medication until after the blood tests on Friday. I’m not too sure how long blood results take at the gp? I’ll have to ask on Friday xx

It depends on the GP practice. At my mva the consultant mentioned that my bloods (platelets) were higher than normal. I had to go before xmas to check if theyd reduced and tge results were back within 48 hours....theyre still up so need to go back end of jan for repeat blood test! Some bloods take a week....it also depends on what they are looking for i guess. But defo ask on friday. Can you take them straight after blood test...would be good if the meds start the bleeding....if it does, you could ovulate potentially in around 2 weeks rach...that would be fab! X

What does that mean melly? Is everything ok? I’m guessing it will be middle of next week as it’s a Friday appointment? Yes I’m going to start them on Saturday as it’s 3 tablets a day. I am so excited I really hope it triggers my body to react and get back to normal. Have u contacted the midwife yet? X

Yes sorry everything is fine. GP reckons its just to a virus or cold. They said anything can raise platelets so not too worried. My DH is a doctor too and he wasnt concerned either. Hopefully just routine. I think if they are super high and persist it can be linked to lymphoma but they were only slightly raised. I hope the pills work too for you. Would be ace if you O soon! You wont be far behind me i reckon!

OMG! totally forgot i booked my booking appt for 20th feb and my 12 week scan (which i will be so nervous at) for 14/3. Surely i cant have baby brain already haha!

That’s good glad Ton hear it’s nothing serious! Wow melly that’s fab I hope it flys in for u. Do u get to book ur own 12 weeks scan in Scotland? I really hope so melly I guess in 6 weeks time I will know either way as will have had 21 day bloods done too. Really praying the bloods this week won’t show PCOS but I’m hopeful as they isn’t see any at the internal scan x

In glasgow you just ring a central booking line directly to arrange booking appt and ultrasound at same time. Feels like ages away though. Hopefully get early scan in a week and a half! Its unlikely to be PCOS. I reckon the pills will work and youll be so glad your bleeding! I wonder whether it will be a bit heavier given its been over 50 days? X

Knowing my luck it will be haha but I am not complaining as it’s coming on 8 weeks now so I will have missed a cycle completely. That’s handy over here we go to midwife and she makes appointment for the scan and u get a letter in the post. Just seen ur messages so I have replied to them too haha x

Hi rach feeling ok. Had a few stretches last night and boobs look a tiny bit fuller. Im got to do digi tom so really hoping i get 2-3 weeks on it. Better night with dry mouth last night. Must be heling drinking 7 tonnes of water/juice each day! How are you?

Rach...felt too anxious about waiting so caved. Pleased to say it now states 2-3 weeks. So relieved.

2pm...hopefully they can send them off that pm? What are you seeing at cinema? We saw starwars recently in 4dx it was fun altho im not a massive sci-fi fan! I feel more reassured and felt a bit excited today....i know i will be a bit up and down fir first few weeks but determined to enjoy it whilst i can as i feel i have been very lucky. Just think you could start bleeding this wkd....that would be fab! If you do bleed do you still have to go for 21 day bloods? X
