Midwife today!

Had my 16 week midwife appointment today... it was brill! Went through blood results with me... etc and everything was fine. Then i had to lay down and she felt my tummy, the top of my uterus is just under my belly button, she let me feel it as she pressed down! Ive tried since i got home but im a bit scared incase i push too hard!

Then... we got to listen to the heartbeat, (mum came along as oh couldnt get back from devon) It was amazing, she found it straight away, just a bit higher up than my knicker line and he/she kept moving coz she had to keep moving the doppler thing around to find it again! It was going really fast and strong! Feel really relieved again now. Cant wait till the scan in Feb!

Yeah its realllly exciting, especially after the scan all them weeks ago! It seems like forever.

Good luck with your appointment tomorrow, my midwife gave me a little prep talk beforehand and told me not to panic if she cant find it as sometimes the baby can be in a weird position xxx
