Midwife appointment - 31 weeks - Diabetes?

Had mw this morning. Everything fine with baby - measuring 30 cms and head down with back at front so that's all good.

But she said there was sugar in my urine and has sent it off to be tested for possible gestational diabetes. I'm now really worried. Got to wait a couple of days for the results to come back - if it's positive, what happens next?

Glad all is well with baby x I have no experience re gestational diabetes but I'm sure someone'll be along to help soonx x

depending on the result u may control it with diet and just to finger prick test daily or u may need to have tablet or injectable insulin but they will monitor u very closely xx
