Middle names - worth having?

I've never really thought about middle names that much until this thread I don't think hehe

I have a middle name but don't believe it to have any significance to anyone or thing, and I also have a confirmation name, which does mean a lot to me.

I would like our baby to have a middle name, and if it is a girl she will have my best friends name, well middle name, as she goes by her middle rather than first. So, I guess if you give your child two names, they can swap them round when older if they want hehe
