I got pregnant on it too! And I was so good at taking it, i'd set an alarm and take it at exactly the same time every day etc etc and yet somehow Faith happened! Lol.

Me too.i had an alarm on my phone with a picture of my pill packet

I found that this pill worked great for me. No PMT, no pain and very light periods- about 4 days. I used to take Logynon and this was awful for me. It made me really depressed and unfortunately I didn't link it to the pill until I'd been taking it for 3 years! I thought I was just a bit of a looney!

I went onto this pill after I stopped breastfeeding my first baby. It worked really well for me as a contraceptive and had no side effects at all. As for ttc, we conceived pretty quickly after coming off it. I got pregnant in the 3rd month after stopping, but then miscarried, and fell pregnant again immediately, so 4 months in total since stopping the pill.

I got pregnant on Microgynon, which was awful. I also had horrible side effects such as depression, lack of sex drive and I put on 2 stone in weight.
So I came off the horrible stuff and went on Yasmin, which so far has been amazing. No side effects at all.

I went on this after I had Livvy and god it made me feel awful! I was angry, upset, tired alll the time! My face broke out and I just felt very very pooey.

But then again, Ive never really got on with the pill at all. I think its just the fact that Im putting fake hormones into my body that doesn't work for me.

Also... by the sounds of things, if you're looking for a contraceptive pill, this isn't the one to go for :S

i also got preg while on microgynon and i'm back on it again i've been on it since i was 17 with no health problems though xx

I had been taking microgynon 30 since i was 17 (im 20 now) and it was always fiiiiiiiine, no problems at all, no unexpected bleeding..... great stuff... until May this year i got pregnant on it

not sure why i got pregnant on it, i took it at the same time, no illness etc... im now on cillest.

I've been on Microgynon for 2 months, would have been on my third pack now but stupid me thought I'd ran out and missed my docs appt to go back and get more (even though I had a full pack in my knicker draw!)
This was the first pill I've had and I'm lucky to have had no problems, except the slight feeling of a fluttery heart once in a while, but it goes away, I will tell my doctor.
No weight increase, pmt is on the decrease (entirely!), my moods are generally better, my skin is fine, very light and easy 4 day periods with very little if any pain!
I went on it to sort the irregular and painful periods and to try and help my typical teenage moodswings, I don't intend to be having sex anytime soon so I can't comment on TTC, although when the time comes I'll be sure to come back to this thread, LOL
