So ladies, not long to go now! How are you both feeling in yourselves? Do you feel better than your previous pregnancies, is it easier or are you finding it just the same as before?

Merv's Mum - How are you going with the Hypnobirthing? Are you completely familiar with it all now? Im still reading and havent listened to the CD as yet. I am really looking forward to your feedback about it.

Hope you dont mind me asking you gals - was just thinking about how close you both are now

Aww bless ya for asking!!

I think I am right at the point of hitting the wall with this pregnancy. I dont know if I've had a particularly busy week or what but I am flagging big time! My sleep hasnt been brilliant for a couple of weeks but my coughing baby hasnt helped that. The cankles havent arrived yet...but there's time! The main difference has been the speed that the pregnancy had gone. It's so different when you've a toddler in tow! My next focus is getting to the 37 wk mark which will be when I can officially have a home birth - ie the baby isnt classed as early.

I have finished my Hypnobirthing classes now. The other couple who took them with us had their baby but she ended up with a c section unfortunately. I am listening to the affirmations and relaxation scripts mostly in bed now to fall to sleep to and practising my breathing techniques. I can officially start to practice birth breathing from 36 wks so that's my next thing. OH and I are going to do the 'fear release' at some point this week.

So far as preparations are concerned we are almost ready. Just Sid's room to put the finishing touches to. Once it's done I'll get some pics up

Wow, how did i miss this thread

I'm doing good, thank you for asking. This pregnancy has flown over so fast that it still doesn't seem real that i'll be having a baby soon. I'm getting a little bit fed up now tho as i'm finding it difficult looking after my little Jacob with this huge belly in the way. I only have 2 days left at work then i take 4 weeks hols and start my mat leave on 1st april. Jacob is still going to the child minders for the first few weeks so i can get everything ready for the new arrival then spend some quality time with him once all my jobs are done

I have a scan on monday to check growth and position so fingers crossed all is well in there.

This has been my easiest pregnancy i think in terms of symptoms etscbut the most tiring due to working and looking after a young family too.

So how are you doing hun? Not long till the 20 week scan when you get to see your baby in detail. You finding this pregnancy easier or harder than your last? xx

It sounds like the hypnoborthing thing is working its magic for you, great stuff! Sorry I havent replied to this thread before now, Im a slacker Its nice to hear how you are feeling about your pregnancy now I have 'got to know you' a bit better

I bet you cannot wait to finish work now, I hope you can get some more rest then. You really have my admiration for all you do.

Im ok thanks, two weeks until my scan - really looking forward to seeing bubs again and seeing how much he/she has grown. Im finding this pregnancy much easier because I havent got as big as I did before, probably as Im running around after Rosie more. Last time I finished my job at 25 weeks as we left Australia and I didnt work after that so I guess I spent a lot of time nurturing my big fat bump! I have been more tired this time I think especially as Rosie hasnt been sleeping well at all but Im hoping by the time the baby arrives her teeth will have settled down!

Im really looking forward to yours and Merv's Mum's birth stories as I feel like I have 'got to know you' a little
