Meeting midwife today!

Pointless post really but feeling excited as have my first midwife appointment today! So glad she is coming to us too as will be more relaxed than in a doctors office. Been told it will take 1.5-2hrs!!! Lots to go through I guess. Am a bit nervous for blood tests though as terrifie of needles to the point I pass out at the thought of it and know she wants to take bloods today

Oh good luck, hope the blood tests aren't too bad. Let us know how it goes? My midwife appointment is Tuesday and I have no idea what is going to happen!

So disappointed now as midwife just called and has had to cancel it as not well. To be fair she could barely talk on home and pretty much had no voice but was really looking forward to it

Yeah but she's on annual leave next week so got to wait 2 weeks now

Never mind just diss appointing when I was looking forward to that today!

How annoying. I hope that it does't put your 12 week scan back!

Yeah I hope not too. Should hopefully be okay as will be 9 weeks when I see her now.

I think I will be 8 weeks by the time I see the MW , it is exciting isn't it? It makes it seem very real , bugger that she goes on annual leave x

Yeah typical but never mind, just makes it seem more real once you've seen your midwife and got booked in. Also want to know when my scan date will be so I can count down to that! Hehe xx
