So i have my first proper midwife appointment today which she tells me will last roughly an hour...she's going to take my blood and stuff like that... i'm actually pretty petrified right now

Hey.... I'm a midwife, don't worry about the appointment. Its just so she can get to know you and book you in to most appropriate care for you and baby. Im sure it will be very relaxed. Good luck!! Xx

Absolutely nothing to be petrified about hun. She just asks about ur medical history, takes blood, weighs u etc. Seriously nothing to be afraid of x

I'm covered in little round plasters though because she couldn't get any blood out of me So now i have to go to hospital and get them to take my blood before i get my dating scan. She said i'm a wuss because i'm covered in tattoos and was bothered about 1 needle taking my blood lol!
