Hi,
I’m 5 weeks today too. I’ve had nausea for the past week and a half. Sore breasts and mild cramping. I think it is all normal, Body adjusting but it seems so early and surreal.

It would be good if there was a Facebook page for us x

Yeah my boobs are sore and I get different pains in them.
Iv done this twice before, you'd think I'd know what's coming lol!
It all feels so alien to me. Iv got a 12 and 6 year old.

I’d love a Facebook group too as it would be much easier but I’m worried it will come up on my timeline and I don’t want to share my news yet, not for a while actually until our first 12 week scan so I’m happy to join a group after then? X

We did a Facebook group for our August 2014 mummies it’s a secret group so it doesn’t show up on timeline we are all still in touch and some of us have met up it’s a lovely thing to have the support network x

Yeah I knew you could make it secret but im not savvy like that Lmao.
Think I feel a little nauseous today, but it could be because I'm hungry. Boobs are still tender too.
I have a pug and all it does is fart... Now my nose can smell it 10 x worse... If anything is going to make me sick its him!

So, I couldn’t wait any longer and decided to tell my OH the good news before our anniversary trip. He knew I’d be testing so I thought I’d best tell him haha... so I was super excited to tell him but he saw the test that said ‘pregnant 1-2 weeks’ and said ‘no you’re not’... he said he’s not getting excited yet (because of our previous MC) and he will only believe it more when I go past the stage I did last time (5weeks+1day) so another 8 days to go before I get a bit of excitement out of him haha. I really wanted a ‘wow’ and amazed reaction but I understand he’s just protecting himself and trying to protect me from any disappointment in case we MC again... I know he is excited and I’m sure he will talk about it over the weekend. X

Aww bkess him. Its shock too I think.
We don't realise how anxious the men actually get about it all, well I certainly didn't.
It's a huge change to life so its normal to be a little anxious especially with bad experiences before x

Yes Linx our MC affected him way more than he thought it would so I understand why he feels the way he does... I just want him to be excited too haha x

I think we underestimate how much a man can and does worry bless them.

I normally struggle to sleep at night but not at the moment. I'm up at 6 30 and in bed by 9. It's nice to go to sleep at a normal time haha

Iv just had a well weird feeling all down my left side.
It started in my privates and went all up the side of my groin. Like loads of tiny pins and needles but it tickled all the way up. Sent me all shivery.
Pregnancy is weird!

I am having some strange feelings on my left side. The usual stretching yes but like little pops. So weird. X

Yeah I’ve had some little niggles in the corners, I’m assuming it’s things stretching/ moving. I find it so strange that so much is going on in there and I’m just going about my daily life! Amazing!

Thanks ladies we have been out adventuring in Edinburgh today for our anniversary trip. I was so tired by 3pm!! I’ve had a power nap back in our room lol.

I’ve not had much symptoms yet apart from pain in my left nipple haha... random! I’m sure the right one will catch up soon.

Yes he is worried but he is also excited I know he is because we have been talking about it today and he just said he doesn’t want us getting excited too soon like we did last time only to MC so I know he has the right intentions, he is just protecting himself from disappointment in case of MC again... xx

It's a worry we've all Got in the first tri, never mind someone who has already had a MC.
I think we all try and protect ourselves from getting too excited to some extent in the beggining it's only normal.

Ah the nausea has kicked in 6 weeks and feeling yuck. I forgot how much I hate early pregnancy. This is def the last one!! How’s everyone else feeling?

I’m feeling good today. Woke up with no nausea. That was till I fed the dogs and smelled their food. I was full on dry heaving. I can’t complain though. My boobs are very sore. I just wish my early scan would hurry up. 15 days away and time seems to be dragging. X
