So I had a bit of a cry last night, telling OH how I feel about everything; the pregnancy, the birth, raising two kids, my weight, that we need to move into a house, need to buy more expensive things etc. All the stuff us women panic about long before the man does!
I feel somewhat calmer today having had that discussion, even if there were no answers or solutions to anything.

As I'm due May 1st I could actually end up having an April baby, and definitely more likely if the consultant wants to bring forward the birth if they're concerned about placenta issues this time. however I would love to stay in this group with you guys if that's the case?

Glad you feel better firstfreak out! And of course you should stay a May mummy. I may end up delivering in April too because I’ll have a planned section. It depends on where they date me when I have a scan.

I feel like it’s starting to sink in a little more now I think.

I'm hoping the scan kinda kicks it into feeling more real. When I got pregnant with DS I was so excited from the first positive test. I couldn't stop myself feeling elated and looking forward to every little thing. Now all I've been doing it worrying and I think I'm in a bit of shock..
We decided to try for number 2 on the 6th August. I got my positive test on 18th. Less than 2 weeks it's insane. I genuinely thought it would take longer so I could prepare more

I've been looking at double/tandem prams today and freaking out a bit.

Morning ladies. So I am happy that I got my 2-3 on a digi this morning but I did have brown discharge when I wiped. Thankfully it’s gone for now but I am panicking xx

So think I’m around 4 weeks 5 days pregnant and got 3+ on Digi this morning I got bfp early at 7/8dpo but now I’m worrying something’s wrong as surely I should only be 2-3 weeks at most on Digi? I know it’s stupid to be worried about but keep thinking it’s twins or like a bad pregnancy producing too much hormones ����*♀️����*♀️

With my first pregnancy I had an hcg of about 4000 by 4 weeks or so pregnant. I was sent for an early scan because they thought it as too high and could be multiples. It was a single baby and a perfectly fine pregnancy
I think a 3+ is perfectly normal at almost 5 weeks, as it would have been almost 3 weeks since you conceived. You might be like me and just have faster rising hcg than others. If you’re worried though you could always chat to your doctor to see what they say?

Thanks lovely think I’m just a bit freaked out I’m going to get hg again! DDs levels rose really quickly and that was the hg pregnancy so I am a bit nervous! I booked an early scan for 15th sept try and put my mind at rest my anxiety ones through the roof in pregnancy! Xx

Ah I can understand the anxiety. Good news is I had no morning sickness whatsoever with my son despite high hcg so fingers crossed for you that’s the case as well! Can’t say the same for this pregnancy, completely different symptoms so far!

Hopefully the early scan puts your mind at rest a bit. Mines next Saturday when I’ll only be 6+3 give or take and now I feel silly for booking one so early

Ah don’t feel like that think we all need the reassurance to make it feel real as well! I had one at 5.6 days with my son and you could see a little dot with a heartbeat! X

I had one with my son too, to determine dates. I went and didn’t see anything but a sac and yolk sac at 4 weeks and went when I thought I was 5 and a half and got dated at 6+1 with baby and heartbeat.

I guess I just want to see that it’s in the right place and progressing fine so far before we tell the families the next day. Eep!

CockerMum, congrats on your 2-3. I’m sure that’s a sign everything is going as it should. Plus my app tells me spotting is normal around this time. And I know brown blood is old blood so that’s reassuring I hope.

Is everyone having a nice weekend? I feel pretty normal today. Other than a bit of tiredness I don’t have any symptoms apart from sore boobs. I’m 5 weeks today which I know is still very early but it feels good to know time is moving! I have still been putting off going to the GP so I’m going to bite the bullet and call on Tuesday.

I feel awful today. I had such a good day yesterday, but today I feel down and a bit touchy.
