***** May 2019 Mummies *****

Oh yes I know what you mean now Keeptrying14. Hope you manage to get some rest.

Booking appointment arranged for 24 Oct - 8+5 weeks

Nauseous and exhausted today. No actual vomiting but plenty of dry retching. With my DS I just felt a bit ‘off’ between weeks 8-11 but this has started earlier and is already worse. I assumed the MS would be similar or slightly less than last time. Hoping it’s not because I’m growing more than one in there!

Random question, do you think it would be safe to have a subway Italian BMT? I am really craving one, but not sure about the processed meat, I would have it heated, but not sure it’s its safe? It’s not the end of the world if I don’t have one, just really feel like it! I think I’m one of those people who are a bit over cautious! Let me know your thoughts girls xxx

Personally i would go for it - i think if you were eating one every day, that would be a different story. I think with everything, in moderation is absolutely fine.

I also think its good to feed your body with a whole variety of different foods, as i think it will help them in later life - thats my personal opinion anyway <3

Hello girls :) Iv been missing in action because Iv been so poorly and drained.
Finally starting to feel a little better.

I have my booking in app tomorrow. I'm. Dreading it because I'm overweight.
Do you think midwife will book me in for an early scan due to spotting?
I'm going to aak her anyway because we go on holiday in just over 2 weeks and I'd like to know baby is safe

Oohgh, there should be a ban on posting about strong smelling foodstuffs till we have all hit 12 weeks!

However, if you can keep it down Beetle then go for it girl. I think some countries say steer clear if processed meats but UK ain’t bothered!

As for me, it’s dry toast with a smear of jam if I’m feeling brave.

Haha Piglet, lunch time seems to be the only time I can eat properly. I chickened out in the end and went for chicken instead lol! The nausea is still well and truly going strong!

Hey girls feeling pretty down today been in bed most of today dry heaving and vomiting I just can’t seem to get a break I’ve had enough I’m only 9 weeks how am I going to get to 40

Hi everyone, just checking in. Sorry to the ladies that are feeling poorly still, hope you find some relief.

I probably would have gone for it with the Italian BMT too! I’m so starving today, but it’s a fine balance between being able to eat and feeling really sick!!

Been a really bad week for me so far. Can't even keep water down.
Caught the bus to work yesterday and someone sat in front of me eating a pasty at 8.30 in the morning. The smell made me feel so sick. Only managed 2 hours in work then my manager sent me home.
My mum lives 5 doors up from us and hubby starts work at 5am, so she comes down every morning to get Riley ready for school and takes Joey up to hers till he goes nursery. She's the best.

Sorry your feeling so rubbish too. How old are your kids? And how many weeks are you now? I completely forgot how mentally draining it is as well every day just seems so hard I just want to sleep constantly to take the nausea away xx

Eldest is 7 and baby is 15 months. I'm 7 weeks 4 days i think, seem to be losing track of the days.
I think we are ment to forget how hard it is otherwise we may not have more children.

Congratulations, Lyndz! Same due date as me :D

Aurora, sorry to hear you're not feeling any better. It's amazing that your mum is able to help out!

My day didn't start of great - I felt woozy and faint this morning despite having had breakfast and been a bit off all day, then as DS was practicing 'answering' my phone with me he got too excited and whacked me on the bridge of the nose with it, almost drawing blood... Now my face hurts! Rude.

10 weeks today, going by LMP, and just trying to take it one day at a time. Counting down the days until the second trimester, as it was by far the best last pregnancy lol

How is everyone else's week going so far?

Any suggestions for bland non vegetable containing meals (coz I can’t face them - usually love them), preferably solely non-smelly white carbs that will also pass muster as a family meal for a 4 year old and hungry husband? I want to try it carry on as normal but the husband wants pizza and Mexican food and the little one wants stir fry or Bolognese and I just can’t face it.

nuggets & chips; chicken & rice or mashed potato/any kind of potatoes; baked potato?

I'm not much help as I'm a vegetarian but I had quorn nuggets and chips last night because I just needed something plain and filling :P

I’m a pescatarian. I’ve gone jacket potato. Tiny sprinkle of cheese. S’ok.

I love a good jacket potato :D If you want something with a bit more flavour, you could try a baked sweet potato.

Due the 28th... twins???

Just popping in from the Jan thread... Macaroni and Cheese was my go-to dinner until about 16 weeks. That or bananas, or toast. It really is rubbish, but it will pass!!

Congratulations to all of you on your pregnancies, I hope you girls start to feel human again soon x
