Is it normal the nausea to start that early? I reckon I am about 4-5 weeks and feel terrible ! Tired, nauseous but hungry... I start to struggle already . Unlike the first pregnancy when I couldn't even look at meat without feeling sick now I find myself wanting sausages
I am going to have a private scan in 2 weeks to check everything is fine in there x

So who is finding out the sex and who is keeping it as a surprise?! We r going for surprise as we already have one of each so thought it would be nice this time xx

I'm not sure, we haven't really discussed all that yet, Im not sure whether I went to know or not, we didn't with my DS but I had a feeling it was a boy anyway, obviously it would be lovely to have a girl, but if we have a boy we are completely prepared for that.

I've been getting waves of nausea and I'm only 5 weeks, I didn't really get any morning sickness with my DS I do remember being quite faint in the first trimester but I was working a physical job and was carrying on as normal this time I'm a sahm, there's still time to get morning sickness though!

I was thinking about not finding the sex of the baby until birth but apparently my husband is more excited to find it out so we will probably go for finding it out. Our first is a boy so we secretly want a girl this time but I will really be happy with no matter the sex as long as he arrives safely .

How is everyone today?
I'm day 5 of having a runny bottom
Iv been to drs and he has threatened an admission if I don't keep fluids up.
Iv eaten and its come back out 30 mins later (sorry tmi)
I feel weak and I'm so worried my poor little bean isn't going it get enough nutrients and is going to die

Aw linx sorry you’re having a rubbish time. Have you tried dioralyte? If you can sip it, it may help. If they offer an admission for fluid replacement I would definitely take it though. I know you must be so worried about baby but they are so well protected in there... they take what they need first apparently. I really feel for you though, it must be rubbish.

I don’t want to jinx it but I feel a bit better today I think. Started the new antisickness yesterday and fingers crossed it’s working. Think I’m going to go back to work at the weekend. I have had so many prescriptions since being pregnant though, when can I get that exemption card for prescriptions?

We will be finding out the gender. We found out with DS so if this one is a girl I'd like to be a little bit prepared and get her some of her own stuff. I admire those who choose not to though; I just don't have the patience for that!

I think i will be finding out the gender. I have 2 boys so will need to prepare myself if baby is a girl. I suppose she could wear blue but i feel like if it is a girl then i will be buying every pink thing i can find.

Hiya girls.
Iv found out ( I think) what's giving me a runny bum... The extra folic acid I'm taking because my bmi is too high. I didn't have it yesterday and felt almost human.
I had to go to hospital yesterday as Dr wanted me rehydrated. They found out I had diarrhea and sent me home. Even though I was loosing brown blood too.
Well last night the brown blood went red.
It has stopped this morning and no pain but I'm worried sick.
I'm not going back to the drs till Monday when I can be sure it's the folic acid making me poorly.
Unless I start bleeding worse.
I'm so scared something is wrong with baby X

Linx- is the blood from your bum? If so I wouldn’t worry about red blood as it’s most likely just where you’re sore from going too often

Oh no linx , sorry you feel so bad , I understand you must worry but as firstfreakout said if it is from the bum it is not related to the baby.

Oh Fingers crossed the bleeding has stopped for good. Have you spoken to anyone since being at the hospital yesterday?
I've just been prescribed the extra folic acid too, will pick up the prescription tomorrow even though I'm already over 9 weeks. I'll definitely let you know if I get more of a runny bum lol

It's awful I still feel a bit icky but no where near what I did feel. It's got to be that..

Hi ladies, hope everyone is ok. Linx, thinking of you.

I’m much better with the ‘morning’ sickness but woke up today and I have tonsillitis. I have antibiotics and a sick note for another week. I’m so fed up, feel like it’s one thing after another! How are you now keeptrying?

Oh no!! That’s good on sickness front but not tonsillitis that’s awful!! You poor thing. I’m ok still being sick slightly better today but constant nausea all day is exhausting! Have you told four other kids now that’s ur expecting? How’s everyone else doing? X

Oh I really feel for you, it’s awful.

The tonsillitis is so painful and I can only take paracetamol. Also I vomited after my antibiotics last night.

My daughters are 5 and 1, obviously the 1yo has no idea what’s going on but we told the oldest and she’s happy. Really wants a brother! Have you?

Has anyone got any booking appointments or scans coming up? My booking appt is on the 8th, so not long to go!

I’ve told my daughter who is 4 but my 2 year old son doesn’t get it at all lol. My dd wants a sister so we shall see!! I’ve had my booking app I’ve got 12 week scan on 15th and then my 16 week in Nov a consultant app for end of Jan that’s just come through. I’m not entirely sure y I think it’s coz I had a third degree tear with my dd but I then went onto only have 2nd degree with ted so not sure y they want to see me. But they seem to be on it! Xx
