***** May 2019 Mummies *****

So sorry Cockermum I hope you are ok and I hope to see you back on this thread soon!

Piglet - lovely to see you on this thread <3

Ladies, I’ve had the bad case of worries today too. I was in a 4 hour meeting and had to go to the toilet twice because I felt wet and was scared AF had started but it was just CM. After my last MC I’m super worried it will happen again. I know I need to stop worrying as it won’t help but I can’t help it... eeekk! Still doesn’t feel real x

Aww cockermum I am so sorry for your loss. Sending lots of love and hope to see you back when you are ready xx

I have this all the time. I always expect blood when I feel wet. And it's always just Cm thankfully.
I am certainly worrying more this pregnancy than my others!

Sorry for not having updated the front page yet everyone, or for checking in. It was DS’s first birthday yesterday and he had a doctors appt today and has his jabs tomorrow so I’m all over the place right now.
I’ll check in tomorrow and do all the updates and replies :)

Aw hope he had a fab 5th bday and I hope the news telling went well! X

Can anoyone put my mind at ease please? I know all of our bodies are different and all pregnancies are different but what symptoms did you have around 4 weeks and 4 dads? I’m at this stage now and worried I’ve not got sore boobs haha. I know I should appreciate it and just be happy but I’m worried I’m not feeling symptoms other than bloating and tiredness (which could just be because I’ve been very busy over the last few days) x

Please don’t worry it’s so early. Even with my hg pregnancy where I had every symptom going it didn’t kick in until late in the 5th week early sixth. With my son nothing til 7th week and this one it’s jusy started getting bad with sickness at 6+2 weeks I was on holiday at 4.5 weeks didn’t feel any different xx

I feel numb... I am lost, I’m upset and I’m sad along with every other emotion I could be feeling right now. Got up this morning and went to the toilet and there was blood... just like my MC last time except when I woke up I didn’t feel ‘wet’... why is this happening to me? I don’t understand it :-( two MC in a row... I’m going to phone my EPU when it opens so I can get bloods done to confirm it but I already know, I just want it on my record. From what I understand from last time they won’t do any invesstigations until you have 3 MC but I’m still going to keep my GP appt for Thursday to discuss this with him. I need some answers but I doubt I’ll get any. It’s just not fair... I’m super busy at work after being off for 2 days so I’m going to have to go into work today too... I have flexi time so going to do a short day I think. I say I think, at the moment I can’t hink about anything other than this 2nd MC... I’m broken

Oh hun, i am so sorry to hear this? Are you definitely sure its a miss carriage bleed?
My thoughts are with you <3

Oh I’m sorry sjf. Definitely see the EPU. Thinking of you and sending hugs xx

Thanks ladies. I phoned EPU but they said because I’m only 4 weeks and 5 days they said to wait it out and theyve booked me for a scan a week today. They’ve told me to wait until sunday, take another pregnancy test and see what it says. If it’s negative I need to phone them up and then they’ll decide whether to also test me and whether to do the scan. If it’s still positive then they will scan me in any event.

I really hope it is just a bit of harmless bleeding but I just know what it was like last time and it’s very similar... got little hope it’s anything but another MC... xx

Oh Sjf I'm so sorry your bleeding.
This first tri is so hard and unpredictable. Lots of love X x

Sjf, I'm so sorry you're going through this :( it must be so hard having to wait until next week to know for sure. We're all keeping everything crossed for you that this is one of those strange pregnancy bleeds <3
Try and get some rest this week if you can x

Man what a busy few days. DS's birthday went well, even with him being awake from 6am to bedtime! He absolutely loved the attention and his presents, and the cake of course! But man am I glad that stress is over hah. I can't believe my baby boy is now longer a baby :(

So both sides of the family now know about the pregnancy, and James's best friend, and a few friends of mine also know. I think now I've got my scan date through (18th October) we'll do a social media announcement for friends then.

DS had his year jabs today - four of them, one in each limb - and my god it was horrific. I sobbed my heart out having to hold him down like that while he cried, the nurse almost cried too. Poor dude. At least I don't have to do it again for a while... That was after spending midnight-3am on the toilet again this morning and spending all morning feeling really sick. Boo.

It's also our 3 year anniversary (not wedding) so OH has paid for me to have an anti-stress massage at 3pm! Bless him. Gonna need it after this morning... But I still haven't gotten him anything because I've been so busy having breakdowns. #worstgirlfriend

Congratulations to the new bfps.
I've updated the front page, do let me know if I've missed anything.

Hey, have you seen your midwife yet? I’m just wondering (I know different areas have different rules) but I’ve not even had a call back from my midwife yet. They said 8 weeks but I’ll be not far off 11 weeks by then x

No not yet. I booked in with the hospital by self referral about two weeks ago, and on Friday I got a confirmation for the booking in appointment with the midwife, which is on 21st September. I'll be 8+1 going by my early scan date. The hospital has then sent me two more appointments, one for a screening blood test for downs syndrome and one for the 12-13 week screening scan, which I received yesterday. I guess this hospital just books the appointments at the same time and sends them out together? Last time I didn't have a separate appt for the blood test

I wouldn't worry if you haven't heard anything from the midwife yet, as long as you have either registered with them or self referred to a hospital (depending on how it works in your area). Are you sure they didn't mean 8 weeks being when you see them, not 8 weeks to wait?

Usually the booking in appt is between 8-10 weeks and the scan is then booked between 12-13 weeks. You could always call the department again and clarify the dates?

Thanks. When I range they said I would get a call back from the midwife in 8 weeks. I’m just a little worried that it’s left too late for scans and tests. I just want to make sure everything ok. I’m booked in for an early scan on 22nd sept. I’ll probs feel better then.
My youngest is 13 so there’s a lot of changes since I’ve had her. X

Hmm, how strange. Maybe they do the booking in and scan closer together? If you haven't heard anything by the time you're 8 weeks I'd give them a call and bug them again!
