***** May 2019 Mummies *****

Yes I will. I’m 38 yrs old and think it’s amazing. I honestly thought I was too old lol x

Ah 38 is nothing. <3
Which celebrity was it recently that had a healthy baby in her like 50s?!

It must be so bizarre though having had such a big gap between this baby and your last, that you must feel like this the first time all over again!

Firstfreakout - glad everything went well and he enjoyed his special day!

Thanks for all of your support ladies. Fx and dust :dust: galore hoping and wishing this little rainbow sticks but I fear the worst with the amount of red blood I’m losing :-(

Wishing you all a super healthy and happy 9 months! Xx

I’m about 4 weeks 1 days now. No symptoms except slightly tender boobs and permanently erect nippeles (they are usually pretty lazy and only come out to play when cold or happy!)

Oh, and I also only want to eat salt and vinegar crisps. I don’t feel sick or crave them as such, just really don’t really fancy anything else.

My midwife booking appt is 16th Oct at 9 weeks. I had a private scan at about 7-8 weeks with my first and I’ll do the same this time - prob late September. It gave me the confidence to tell my family and close friends. I waited to tell the wider world for the 12-13 week scan.

So scared it won’t stick. As others have said, I keep feeling really wet and worrying but I’ve just got loads and loads of thin, pale creamy yellow CM.

Doing my digital test tomorrow morning then I’ll feel brave enough to change my TTC ticker. Oh crikey I hope the digital says yes!

Good luck with your test tomorrow, Piglet! My nipples are permanently erect too, right now. How bizarre.

Just having a little noise on the May mummies :)
Will you start a pregnancy journal too Piglet?! xx

Hell no, I have no time in my life as it is! It’s a full time job keeping up with these threads esp now I’m on May mummies AND September Testers!......I say as I lol in bed on my day off (I’m a part timer).

4 weeks + 5 days

I feel numb... I am lost, I’m upset and I’m sad along with every other emotion I could be feeling right now. Got up this morning and went to the toilet and there was blood... just like my MC last time except when I woke up I didn’t feel ‘wet’... why is this happening to me? I don’t understand it :-( two MC in a row... I’m going to phone my EPU when it opens so I can get bloods done to confirm it but I already know, I just want it on my record. From what I understand from last time they won’t do any invesstigations until you have 3 MC but I’m still going to keep my GP appt for Thursday to discuss this with him. I need some answers but I doubt I’ll get any. It’s just not fair... I’m super busy at work after being off for 2 days so I’m going to have to go into work today too... I have flexi time so going to do a short day I think. I say I think, at the moment I can’t hink about anything other than this 2nd MC... I’m broken

I am so so sorry to read this I really hope it sticks for you life can be so cruel xx

Hi guys,

I got home and did a pregnancy test...BFN. I held it in as much as possible from lunch and hardly drank so it was definitely concentrated enough. I’m devastated. Thanks for all of your support and wishing you all the luck in the world with your sticky beans! I hope to be on the pregnancy thread again soon but for now, I’ll say goodbye :-( x

Oh it is. I definitely feel like it’s my first again. Especially as all the advice and procedures are so different. I’m really enjoying it though. This will be my fiancé’s first child and he is so happy. My kids are too.

Sorry sfj. You’ll be back soon. I’ll look out for you.

Hope you don’t me thread hopping but sjf I just wanted to say I’m so sorry, it’s not one bit fair, if it makes you feel any better I’ve had 2 failed pregnancies this year - a chemical in January, got bfps for about 4 days then it just tailed off, then I got pregnant in March which I discovered was a blighted ovum at 10 weeks, just as I was getting excited about being able to announce...the MC was long and drawn out but I got pregnant again 8 weeks later and now - my third pregnancy of the year - I’m 9 weeks and everything looks to be going well - obviously not in the ‘safe zone’ for a few weeks yet but seen the baby and the heartbeat on a scan last week and everything looked perfect, so hang in there, I think you’ve been incredibly unlucky but there is absolutely nothing to say your next pregnancy won’t be successful, it’s more common then people think to have 2 MC in a row, I read something interesting when I was going through it that a recurrent MC clinic ran a trial of inviting women who had 2 MC rather then 3 and were absolutely inundated to the point where they had to call it off, take care of yourself now and do whatever you need to do to make yourself feel better xx

Thank you so much Nightowl. That’s reassuring and so glad your pregnancy is going well! I really hope it’s third time lucky for me too... x

I’m thread hopping too to say definitely don’t give up hope. I’ve had a mc at eight weeks and a blighted ovum at twelve weeks. This time I’ve had scans at six weeks, eight weeks and twelve weeks and all is growing well. The amount of women that have two mc is immense. You’ll get there x
