mine balloons after I've eaten lol 9 days till scan I'm literally counting the days lol looking forward to a weekend away with oh although I'm over maternal and dreading leaving my boys

I was so neat with my son. I didn't show until 20+ weeks. Didn't get one stretch mark and he was 9lb 1 Don't think I will get away with it this time. I am bigger now than I was at 20 weeks with him xx

I'm not expecting to show for ages yet. My fat layer should hide it fairly well and I think people will just assume I've eaten a few pies! My weight is a bit up and down all the time anyway (thanks pcos) so I doubt I'll get any comments unless it suddenly shoots out in front of me!

My booking in is tomorrow. It says allow 2 hours, does it really take that long to go through the stuff they sent me or is there more once I'm there?

My booking in was a little over an hour. Alot of my info was already on file though. There are alot of things that they go through though xx

Mine was 1hr 30 in total. They go through family history your history previous pregnancies what tests you want done downs etc they take look and pee with me they went through my ideal birth plan too. Amy health risks. I'm joint led consultant and midwife but all being well Beth should be midwife led. As long as my heart plays game. I've had a few ... episodes but minor ones and I haven't told anyone yet. If they get worse I'll have to though.

Booking in is usually a long appointment with the midwife where you get your green notes.some areas do scan and booking in at once here ita separate.

Hi ladies, sorry I'm so rubbish at keeping up with these things! I've tried to catch up but theres so many pages I've just had a quick flick through. I'm so sorry about your loss Maybe, I had everything crossed for you. Hope you're ok.


Loving all your scan pics and bump pics. We had our first scan on Monday and I was convinced there wouldn't be anything there like the last two pregnancies but my little bean was there and we saw the heartbeat, we both cried! They didn't count how fast it was though so hoping it was a strong one. They dated me 3 days more than I thought so I'm 9+2 today which means at the moment its due on our 2nd wedding anniversary! I was trying to attach a photo but cant work out how to do it. Now we know there's a little baby growing we've started our weekly bump pics Next scan is in 3 weeks and we've got our booking in appointment tomorrow.


So happy to see most of you are so close to tri 2! I'm hoping you all feel better soon, I think I'm the lucky one and just felt nauseous but fine if I constantly eat so I'll be the size of a house soon haha xxx

No the midwife did all that for me. I've not been thirsty in weeks lol really struggling today with sickness think I may need to crack out the big gun pill later x

Glad to read your update carmie I'm convinced this baby will either arrive on my grandads birthday so it will be the 3rd generation on that day or on mine and my husbands 1st wedding anniversary. What date is your anniversary?

i just nibble on a cracker when i start to feel really nauseous the worst is on my drive into work takes an hour and i start to feel really sickly then.
