May 2017 Mummies *NEW*

it doesnt matter what it costs its life changing moments and memories in the making.

i may ask my OH for a 3d scan when i get further on - just grateful for the 2 scans ive already had :)

Yeah I know what you mean, constantly attached to it!

Do you think the midwife will think I'm crazy if I ask her to find the heartbeat with the Doppler tomorrow as I'm just over 9 weeks? When did you guys find a heartbeat? What brand did you buy? xx

I don't think the midwife will be willing to do it. I think the earliest they do it is 16 weeks. I got the sonoline b doppler with 3mhz probe. I only got mine last week but other ladies have found the heartbeat early xx

i saw the heartbeat of my little one never heard it and i thought i was 8 weeks when she scanned me she seemed to think i was more 6/7 weeks.

either of your discharge change colour? im constantly googling to make sure its normal!

Oh ok I wont bother asking her then.

Definitely worth the pennies for the private scan Lisey xx

Yes, I get a slight peachy/yellowish discharge at times. Midwife said its fine so long as its not blood xx

I hardly have any Leigh, hoping that's normal. Its white when I do have some though xx

phew!

im constantly googling it goes from white to light yellow to sometimes looking a bit pale pink/peachy it really has me worried.

i think if you see red fresh blood then get in touch with the midwife xx

Carmie, I wouldn't worry. Everyone is different, apparently you get more in subsequent pregnancies. I don't recall anything with my son, it was a looooong time ago though xx

I thought I was the 14th may but it might change at my scan next week!

I'm craving chocolate and crisps but fruit helps my nausea so that's good lol

Yep, thats what she said to me. There is so much going on, increased blood flow, cervix is more sensitive and plus the placenta embedding in causes spotting for some. I get the 'stuff' just after bowel movements (sorry, tmi) but I am presuming it is connected xx

lisey I've just realised your 12 weeks tomorrow! that's a massive milestone lol

I'm off to get my flu jab in an hour or so.

Anyone else had theirs yet?

XX

not yet my mw said to get it asap but I've been putting it off because I know it's going to make me ill lol

So I've done a big step. I live smack bang between 2 hospitals right on the cusp. And I've been asked to think about which one to give birth in. When I had my son it was a no brainer hospital A had one of the top maternity wards in the country. Then that one went a bit down hill and hospital B was considered better. Back with mc no1. I did all my research and concluded hospital B was the one. I've just looked again at the latest results. And I'm back to hospital A they have coMr on leaps and bounds and actually gave an elusive 10/10 for partner participation. So decision made. Argh feels a bit more real!

Thanks nikki :)

I haven't had it yet Emily. The fact that it might make me feel ill has put me off as I feel hideous enough as it is.

It's getting real now ery :) xx

ooh ery it's so exciting. when my mw was talking about a vbac and water birth and stuff it all kinda sunk in that this is actually happening lol I won't relax till after my scan next week though. oh is buying me a doppler on Friday

my friend had her baby last week 10lb 1oz! went round to have cuddles on Monday he's so cute! I still think it's amazing how we grow these perfect little humans inside us lol
