May 2017 Mummies *NEW*

I had bloods taken when I got admitted to hospital I told them I was pregnant I don't know how many times but they insited on doing bloods to check lol. Then a nurse sort of sheepishly asked "so you know youre pregnant?" I was like I bloody hope so! It happened last time I was pregnant in hospital I told them then a nurse came up pulled a curtain round and said "your blood tests shows an elevated hcg level do you know what that means?" I was like... yes.... she actually breathed a sigh of relief lol. I think if they do it again I'm going to pretend I had no clue lol

thank you lisey! still really nervous about losing it but its only a 5% chance now there is a heartbeat present!!

haha i think you should pretend Ery, really shock them! haha or breakdown crying on them! :) xxx

lisey my mum is the same. We haven't told her yet but I know she doesn't believe it is a baby until they are born and are healthy. She had a full term loss of what was up to birth a healthy baby so that is her reasoning but still it would be nice if she could go along with it a bit.

Good news about your scan leigh, I also ovulated from both sides so they had a good look around but could only see the one in there. I wouldn't mind twins, it would take some pressure off and boom instant family but it is obviously more risky. I know a lot of sets of twins with one of them having had serious difficulties due to complications.

nikki I hope you get the birth you want (wow thinking ahead! I can't imagine ever getting that far at the moment).

How is everyone else?

I'm 10+5 today. At work we were pregnancy scanning cows this morning, they are much better at the pregnancy thing than we are and have hardly any of the losses we do. If we see one in 30 days (so 16dpo) they are nearly certain it will go to term.

I miss working on the farm! I has the job of raising lambs that the mothers rejected. Well it was thrust on me when the 3 male farmers gave up on this one little lamb as they couldn't get it to suckle from the bottle and I didn't know I just went in fed it and they were all like... soo... this one is going home with you. I was like whaaaa??? Lol I frequently woke up with animals left in my garden lol my parents finally got fed up lol. But I miss it it was blooming hard work though! Wouldn't want to do ithis when pregnant!!

thank you snowbee! i would love either way so we shall see in 2 weeks time. it just adds to the excitement!

i cant believe how far you all are im the one behind :( im gunna be a late may early june baby xxx

It's alright you'll be here soon! Though I feel I've beenever pregnant about a year lol still feels weird to say I'm pregnant. Even the bump feels alien lol my body has gotten a bit ahead of itself!!

I've always wanted a water birth just hope it all goes to plan! scan is booked for the 28th which would put me at 11+6 but according to my last scan I might only be 11+2 does that matter?

No dating scans are between 10 and 14 weeks according to the notes I've been given but I think 10 weeks is rare and would probably need a rescan. May just mean you get to see bubs twice.

Has anyone thought about finding out the gender?

oh OK will see if the dates are different again at the scan then. only 2 weeks to go! I think I'm going to find out I've found out with both my boys lol

wow you have really popped!!

i would upload a picture but im not sure how to! lol

i dont want to find out but the OH does - he doesnt like surprises xxx

My OH & I both want to know the gender. I am terrible with surprises; I just need to know!

I can't believe your bump Ery!

I would like to find out, my husband I think would wait but he is happy to find out as he knows I want to. I am planning on telling people that we don't know however.

We're finding out. I really don't like gender neutral stuff. I find it boring. I am excited to know, we don't care if it's a boy or a girl but would love to know.
Just found heartbeat on doppler, took a while, I was concentrating on the wrong side for ages. Can't catch it for long as bubs moves!! Xx

I really want to know, but I still have to convince my OH. I'd like to be able to choose a name and use it during the pregnancy rather than always saying 'the baby'.

Yeah, I feel the same. Also we will not agree on boys name so we need time otherwise it would end up being registered 'baby boy' xx

Yeah, we have some names in mind, with at least agreement on one name for each, but not set on them. Right now it's just our little bean.

I like bright clothes, which I think are fairly unisex anyway but I still would like to know.

We have a short list of names but I don't think I could choose one until they are here anyway, even if we know what they are going to be.

We are finding out I think it will be easier to tell my son he's having a brother or sister. Girls name is sorted has been for about 13years lol boys name would be ultra tricky!!!
