Good luck to all you ladies having scans today. I hope it all goes well.

Today is the first time I couldn't make it into work. I went from no symptoms to feeling sick all the time without actually being sick once I hit 7 weeks. I'm 8 weeks today and it's the bloating and constipation that is killing me. Just walking to the shop this morning for milk nearly had be bent over. I really hope this all goes away after this trimester. If it didn't take me over an hour and multiple changeovers to get into work, I think work would be easier. I can sit most of the day, but getting there has been awful. I usually leave the house feeling okay only to feel sick and light-headed halfway to work.

Good luck to nikki, Emily and Qwerty with scans today, and to anyone else getting a scan I've missed.

I feel a bit guilty saying it when so many of you are ill but I wouldn't actually know I'm pregnant. I feel fine. This worries me that things aren't developing as they should though! Typical, noone is happy with symptoms or without them!

I think we were quite lucky, as although we have been ttc four long years we have never had a problem with sex life. I think we can separate it into fun rather than just baby making. I also find my oh pretty damn sexy lol!

I have my 1st appointment with the midwife on Friday morning. I'll be 8+1. I've asked the OH to see if he can get time off work to come with me cos I have a real fear of blood tests. I've never had one but it's just the idea of a needle going into a vein! Yuck!

We've been trying on and off for around 8 years but we try to keep it fun.
I'm about to swap to a different pregnancy vitamin pill which has ginger in it x hopefully that will help.

Kabuk, hope you are feeling better soon! I am really struggling with the commute too. Hope this phase ends soon.

I'm 7+5 today and still no word from the hospital we self-referred to so asking the GP to send us to the local. Have an early scan booked for Saturday for reassurance.

Hope the scans go well today!

I had my booking in appt yesterday. The midwife used the date of my mc as the lmp to estimate how many weeks I am for the referral to the hospital for my dating scan. If I go by ovulation date I'm 9w+1 but by her method I'm 10w+3.
She said she'd rather use her method because it's better to have the scan too early and have another a week later than have it too late and it be too late to do the combined tests etc. So that makes sense I guess.
And I'm not complaining because I get my scan a week earlier! Just waiting for the date through the post.
