May 2017 Mummies *NEW*

I stopped my coq10 when I got my bfp too xx

I have no symptoms whatsoever now, boobs are not tender, so my one and only symptom has left the building! I'm taking comfort that symptoms come and go! I'm have no sickness, no bloating, even the writing on my digi I did yesterday has gone! Lol

Grabbing boobs in front of your customers, brilliant! and why not, I see men adjusting their lunchboxes all the time! Lol

Aww you'll be fine, ice hardly had no symptoms! The digi wording unfortunately does disappear which sucks! Take care xxx

Yes Tina, providing all is ok in there, I should be grateful I feel so normal! No symptoms for the next 8 months would be fab!!!

Evening all :) Are there any oldies having their first? I'm 36!!! and this will (fingers and toes crossed) be my first. Doctor already scaring me with age horror stories! Eek

I'm 34 so I guess that makes me old too! *sobs*

Hi all I'm due on May 17th.

This will be my third baby but it's forth pregnancy for me. I am HUGELY bloated!! Never had this with my girls.

I haven't got a lot of symptoms either. I do have the increased CM and my appetite is just weird. But my boobs are fine and I haven't felt nauseous at all. My first two pregnancies were full of nausea and sickness, maybe this one is just letting me have a break! haha!

I had the increased CM last week, but not so much now. I was hugely bloated last time I was pregnant, but feel totally normal. Are your 2 girls or boys?

One of each - had a fairly easy pregnancy with my girly but the lad was horrendous!

One of each, perfect! :) do you have a preference for this one?

34 here, too. My GP didn't say a thing to me about age though. We were shocked that I managed to get pregnant the first try, with frozen sperm. All the statistics didn't mean a thing there, but it does make me worry a bit more, as if we were just a little too lucky.

GP gave me 9 May due date, but using an online NHS calculator, it's 12 May. I guess we'll see when I finally get to the dating scan.

Tell me about it time almost feels like it's going in reverse!

congrats hun :) welcome to may mummies! yeah ery I feel the same it's only been 2 weeks since I got my bfp feels about 2 months! want my booking in appointment at least then it might keep me going till my scan!

I think I am going to have some time off work soon. I am so weak and feel so sick. I work in a school so if I have a small group of children, I can't leave them to go off and be sick!! I am going to go in as long as I can but if I need time off, do you think I should be honest on the reason why? I didn't want to tell them til 12 weeks but don't like being dishonest either? Xx

Tell me about with the time. I've been lucky so far with very minimal symptoms. My 12 weeks coincides with half-term, so there is a lot at work to keep me busy, but this half-term feels like it should be over and that is down to the slowing of times waiting for that first scan.

Not sure lisey. If your off for too many days they'll want a doctors note, so not sure you can get around it. I'm a secondary teacher and I cstood in more than a few times to help out a pregnant colleague who needed to run off to be sick. Everyone was supportive. She tried coming in and made through many days, but we are on alert to help when needed. I won't say anything until 13 weeks and had my scan, unless of course there is a reason to.

The doctor can say something else on the sick note but would feel bad when it's finally revealed. I take small groups of children out of class for reading or additional work. There wouldn't necessarily be someone around for me to ask to cover me.
I had horrendous sickness last pregnancy and ended up in hospital on fluids, they mentioned HG. Will go in as much as I can but it's a struggle already xx

12 weeks falls in the half term for me too so just concentrating on getting through the next few weeks! We are going on holiday too so will probably have to have time off for a scan. Time seems to be really dragging... I have told work, was going to wait but thought I'd best tell them incase I needed time off, if it's pregnancy related it doesn't count against you on your absence record. Only being sick first thing in the morning so far so not really affecting me at work!
