May 2017 Mummies *NEW*

I would've hated a scan like that Piglet.

I've been really lucky. Every appointment and every member of the maternity team I've dealt with so far has been fantastic. I hate that I'm most likely going to have change hospitals when I'm about 5 months. We couldn't find a house in our area within our budget, so we'll be moving from SW to SE London around Feb. I really hate the idea of making the switch midway through.

Great news ladies x x x x fantastic to hear x I'll catch up better when I get home from work x x x

so glad were all moving onto tri 2 soon! who else has scan's left?

Sorry your scan wasn't very good piglet. Thinking about it, our sonographer didn't say much either- he sighed a fair bit though! I think our wiggly baby was frustrating him,!!

I'm next friday and yes dragging so so much I'm so utterly terrified lol

So glad it's been good news on the scan front today.

We've told quite a few people today and the reactions have been fan! Telling my brother and sil tomorrow (if Cam hasn't already as he'll see them before I do!,) and then a couple more to tell face to face on Monday and then I'll Facebook it for everyone else.

It's all feeling very real now everyone knows!

It was such a great feeling telling people. We have just a couple more to tell on Sunday/Monday and then we'll make a FB announcement.

The only news I wish I wouldn't've received was an email from my mother saying she is coming over in May. That is one stress I don't need right after giving birth. Whilst it'll be my first, it will be her 13th grandchild. She could live with waiting until we come over in Nov 2017. My in-laws will be staying with us, who I adore, and this is their first grandchild. So my mother will be at a hotel as we won't have any room. I don't know if there is a way to tell her not to come. We don't get on well and her health isn't great. Her last visit this summer consisted of me taking care of her as she was severely ill and didn't take out travel insurance, even though she a list of health problems that could flare up at any time.

I'm scared that so many people at work know before my 12 week scan but hey news spreads like wildfire in that place! lol. I'm gutted that miscarriage has tainted tri 1 so much for so many of us. buy so happy it's nearly time for the next stage for us. anyone else find themselves whispering to their bellies a lot? LOL

I have a couple of times but I've tried so hard not to get too attached for fear of losing it. I'm sure I'll chat more as time goes on.

As for keeping yours a secret Ery, you've got such a lovely bump already, it was always going to be hard!

I've been talking to the little bean, especially in the morning when I have some alone time (being an early riser and all). I'm just so excited. I can't wait until I can finally feel the movements.

That's true lol. Especially as my work top is one if them streachy ones. Lol bump feels so tight today though don't know what that's about! I just find myself saying "please be OK little one" lol

Lol I know. Sometimes I feel like tri 1 is ages but then it's like oh my it wasn't that long ago!

Yay for being oldies!!

The girl at work who told me she's pregnant is due in July! When she said July I was like

There are 3 of pregnant at my work, one is 2 weeks ahead of me and the other is 2 weeks behind me.

It's always a bit like that with time, isn't it. Whilst you're in the middle of it waiting to hit your key dates, time seems to move slow, but once you hit those key dates, it's like, where did the time go?
