Woooohooooo a May thread.

My better half is due on 3rd of May according to her calculations. Midwife appointment this coming week.

We made the decision to tell our closest family, parents and my brother yesterday and it was a happy room. Everyone else will have to wait to be told until we get to the 10-12 week stage. We have a lot happening around 9 weeks which will probably dictate when some of our closest friends find out.

My wife does love her bed so it was a surprise that she was downstairs at 4am this morning and arching TV because she couldnt get back to sleep. Probably risen help that I kept singing Insomnia by Faithless to her.... "I can't get no sleep"

Anyways as you can tell I'm pretty damn excited and hope you guys don't mind a man about the place.

Always nice to have a male perspective...is this your first baby? x

It sure is, I've been one of these it's not the right time for long enough, now it's happening it's 100% the right time, even if it really isn't lol.

Meanwhile MY man is being utterly heartless right now. Refuses to believe it's pregnant because the pink line wasn't dark red like it was last time and says "your period is probably coming along" which obviously is hurtful because if I did have a bleed it would be a miscarriage

I have a clear blue test to take but it's one of the less sensitive ones that detects at 50 and I'm scared it will come out as not pregnant as my lines are still faint. I'm paranoid because I feel like they should be darker at this stage.

My lines seemed faint for ages...I did a clear blue digital and got a pregnant 1-2 weeks and then a week later I did a test and the line was still faint...3 days later it was dark though x

I've only done two tests so far. Massively resisting the urge to do more. Think I'll wait until mid week and then do a digi it's still not hit me yet really, it doesn't seem real!

I had a preg 2-3 on a digi thursday.. I had one more digi and frer as they were twin packs. So will do them wed ans hope i get my 3+..
I had a few ics left over so just doing them every few days lol. Cant stop!

We are booking an early scan next week for end of sept. I'll be coming up 8weeka so fx see a nice baba and hb xx

Hi all, tentatively dipping my toe in at the moment. Bfp this morning, due May 12 by my reckoning. Bit nervous, was in the Jan mummies thread but had a miscarriage at about 6 weeks, had 2 miscarriages before having my son in Oct 2010. Good luck to all May mummies, lovely to see so many bfps, h&h 9 months to us all. Fingers crossed.

I only tested twice last tme, its just because my hubby is being a pain in the backside that I'm still testing.

I'm trying to hold off until end of next week before using my digi.

I did a digi 11dpo cos OH couldnt make out the frer line lol!
Then wanted to buy more so got my 2-3 thurs and saving te last for next week


I think i have a UTI drs tomorrow morning. In agony when i go for a wee xx
