****** May 2015 Mummies to be *******

Ooooo picccccs of what you bought? Can't get enough of baby clothes!!

We saw lots of lovely things today when out, prob going to buy some bits after our scan on wednesday as we haven't got anything really.

I suffer with left lip pain also have had it since 10 weeks but has progressively got worse. My gp said it was likely a nerve being pressed against. I find if I do too much at once or I've had lots of time walking on my feet usually between hospital appointments it's hell ish. A good bath usually eases it off a little bit when it's too bad. It sometimes a struggle to put pressure on my left leg when it's toobad. Im going to speak to my consultant Tuesday to see what she thinks and ask for a physio referral. Your midwife usually does that it's says on nhs website but i haven't really seen a midwife much this pregnancy as im consultant led and don't have a direct contact to ask her either so hoping my consultant can do it! Im struggling with sleeping with acid/heartburn mostly and last night I couldn't get comfortable due to baby b being high in my ribs and baby a kicking my bkadder continually lol. On a good note though. I bought my first pack of nappies today. Planning on buying a pack a week in a few different sizes to geta good stock up and will do it with a few other bits baby needs too! My sisters giving me lots of stuff from her little girl so need to sort out between is what we've got and what we need to get which I plan on doing in the next couple of weeks or so. Hope everyone's well! Xxx

Mayflower i exclusively BF my son for 14 months and i still used the microwave steriliser for dummies, teething things and bottles i expressed into etc so its definitely useful either way :)

In case anyone is interested......

I was in Asdas yesterday and picked up 2 x boxes of 12 Johnsons baby wipes for £18. Not sure if there are offers elsewhere?

I'm gonna start picking wipes and nappies up now to get a good stock in so I spend less when I'm on maternity leave.

Baby clothes from today... Have just realised that a lot of them are a bit "boy".... :) :(

I would have guessed you were having a boy from looking at those Bigbee! I never think to look at clothes in John Lewis.

Larly, nah. We are team yellow :) but I tend to gravitate to boys stuff for some reason. My OH asked me why I bought all boy stuff when I came home and showed him. Oh well.

Buttonbear, thanks. I don't mind either. Bought a couple of pairs of socks and bibs online, they arrived and they have a lot of pink in them, which I didn't notice on the website. If we have a boy, then he'll have to wear them as im not sending stuff back - too much effort!

I'm sure we'll get gifted a load of gender-specific stuff when the baby is here, so there will be a mix. :):):)

Hello ladies, I'm so sorry I've not been around, I guess this thread needs a major update on the first page, sorry.

I'm ok, but I have been poorly several times over the last couple of months. It's hard work looking after a toddler, going to work and trying to stay healthy. Baby seems to be fine and is letting me know it's there several times a day.

I hope you're all ok and enjoying this trimester xx

Hi Durham. Sorry to hear you've been unwell. Hope your starting to/feeling much better now. Xxx
