****** May 2015 Mummies to be *******

Caseysmummy sorry to hear you have been suffering so much again today, it sounds really awful. Don’t forget to post some photos of your crochet

Woohoo last day in tri 2 Bigbee, I’ll be joining you in tri 3 soon.

Hoping you’re ok Flosi and not letting work get you too down.

Durham did you little boy eat his fishpie in the end?

How’s everyone this evening? I’ve had to hit the rennie as very windy and bloated (bloated on top of bump is making me feel giant tonight. Just had a nice shower, so sat in my pj's with my feet up and going to watch great british bake off on iplayer xx

I will definitely post some pictures when ive done my first row ive done 3 squares so far this evening im definitely hooked. Loving the fact my little boy is going to bed on time and sleeping good now at last as means I've got lots of time of an evening to myself! I've decided if im still struggling to walk by Friday I will see my gp for definite but atm hoping it eases by keeping my feet up! Hope everyone else is well. Toddler hood is hard at time isn't it Durham? My little boy went through terrible 2s for almost 2 years im sure I think we're coming out of it now as he seems much more settled the past couple of weeks xxx

Yes definitely do that Caseysmummy, can they give you anything to help? More physio? Crutches? Or is it a case of suffering until babies arrive? xx

Today has been a long day. My 2 year old thinks she is 12 and has been grumpy from the word go this morning. Such hard work and when she's upset that's it, there's no getting through to her to try to calm her down or reason with her. She doesn't have varying degrees of cry like my son did as a baby, she's always screamed. Her cry is awful, it really grates on me and I feel useless sometimes at consoling her. I know it passes but it makes it no easier at the time. It's my last day in tri 2, tri 3 tomorrow eeeeeeeeep xxx

I've tried getting physio but everyone I ask about referring me says oo ask your ... My consultant told me to go to my works occupational health, so I give up as it's not my works responsibility as it's pregnancy related. Im going to look into a chiropractor I think now im off work its meant to really help. Sorry to hear you've had a bad day Nat hopefully tomorrow will be better xxx

I'm off to tri 3, girls.... With heart palpitations induced by panic!!!! Oh. My. Days. 13 weeks to go.

See you in a couple of weeks bigbee. 25 weeks today for me so will be hanging out here for a bit still :) x

Good luck bigbee! I'll be joining you on Monday

It seems like it was a full moon for toddlers yesterday then! Blueeyes- no! He went to bed hungry as he wouldn't touch it. He gets me so cross because he eats with his eyes. If he doesn't like the look of something he won't even try it! The second I put his plate in front of him he looked at it in disgust, realised it was all that was on offer and started the tantrum  I'm not prepared to give in! You get what you're given in this house or go without (I sound like my gran!) he's currently stuffing himself with toast as he's starving.

I'm out early this morning, the car is in for MOT, wish me luck!

everyone is leaving will be very lonely on this side for a while.
hope everyone has a better toddler day today!
I have today left at work then a weeks holiday, hope today rolls on!

Oh, and my car has passed :good:

Ahhh we are the same Durham, I am doing a nice meal at home too for him and going to rent a movie and have a nice night spent together in our new housey :)

Yay on car passing!!

Morning ladies, finally reached double figures today yay! Congrats to button too. Tomorrow it will only be a week til tri 3. This second tri has gone fast! Legs are a little better this morning, I can hobble further anyways! And without tears to my eyes lol. Durham my little boy used to be like that, I found when he started nursery and having lunch there he would eat whatever was he had because the other children would be eating it too. He was still a bugger at home and would refuse anything that he didn't like the look of, but over the last 12 months I started to be a bit stricter and if he didn't eat it he wouldn't have anything else and he's started to try new things and our biggest achievement so far is tuna pasta as he used to turn his nose up at that constantly and spaghetti bolognese. He still has his moments but it's better. I would have loved fish pie for tea, it's one of my favourites, may have to send oh out later to get me the bits too cook one for tonight! And glad the cars passed hun! One less thing to worry about for 12 months! Xxx

Thanks ladies!

It's really hard sending him to bed hungry, but I've got to be strict or he'll walk all over me.

Caseysmummy, I know I am not suffering as much as you, but my back and hips have been really painful as you know, and last week and yesterday I saw a private osteopath (which I really think is helping). Hopefully it will ease for you now you have finished work.

Bigbee, see you there soon!!

Mayflower i have to sit down to do my socks and sit on the bottom of the stairs to do my shoes. Like you, I thought it would be much later on :-)

Durham thats my sisters attitude about food and her little ones too. This is our first but really admire how my sister is with their children and how they try everything, so hope to follow her advice and do the same as you two.

Glad your car passed.

We are just planning a nice dinner at home and I am goign to make my boyfriend some fudge. With him losing work and not finding anything new yet and maternity leave fast approaching we are having to really watch our pennies.

Can I ask your advice lovely ladies?
Work have asked me to go and give training (something that is part of my job) on the 13th and 26th March and 2nd April. It will be a 3.5 hour drive one-way, thats not accounting for stops or traffic. Then 4-5 hours training then obviously the drive back. I have looked at train options but they would be 4 hours with 2 changes. HR have suggested they look for another alternative, however my manager says there isn't one. I will be 31 weeks, 33 weeks and 34 weeks on those dates and feeling uncomforable with more than 40 mins int he car with my back/hips. Tried to see if there's any laws/rules for this, btu can't seem to find anything. Does anyone know - can they insist I go?

Thanks xx

Hi ladies, my internet has been rubbish the last few days so i've been barely on here but just want to wish you all well as it's my moving day today too :)
See you all in tri 3 in the few couple of days/weeks. I'll keep checking back in :)xx

It's getting quieter in here as everyone is moving over, morning to those of you that are left

I woke up to Thomas the tank engine telling me he us a really useful engine. I accused Blake if stashing a toy in his bed and it turns out the toy was downstairs and it was the cats playing with it!

I've got a bit of an issue and I think I'll have to ask my MW about it, but it doesn't always happen. I had to walk to the garage to collect the car yesterday and I was suddenly hit with pain on my right hand side. It reduced me to just a shuffle and I had to keep stopping to rest. It's like baby just shifts it's position and leans against something inside me. It's happened several times now and is getting worse. I don't think its PGP as some days I can walk 2/3 miles pushing the pushchair without having a problem. Then all of a sudden I'll feel fine again and can walk normally, which is what makes me think it's the baby's position thats causing it.
