I'm only 32, I'm feeling like a young 'un!! Tee hee!!
The bloating has really hit me the last day or two. I look about 5 months pregnant. My stomach is sticking out and solid from right beneath my boobs but still wobbly at the bottom! I feel so uncomfortable. X

Hi I'm Heather and new to this!

I should be due around 26/27th May if I've got my dates right.... it's taking SO LONG for me to even get a doctors appointment because I've moved surgeries and am no longer in the previous GP practice catchment. Surely it's not normal. I have a nurse checkup appt for 25th Oct but that's just to join the practice not about my pregnancy... weird eh!

Hrmmmmph *has a grumble*

Bored of morning sickness atm and started getting constipation (lovely) - but weirdly I get hungry late at night which isn't great! Trying to be healthy but all I'm craving is dairylea and white foods....!!!

What do you think about this auto 'high risk' status attached purely to age? Makes me feel totally prejudged. Surely everyone is different and the medical profession should not label without good cause?

It's just the way of it init nothing ya can do about it I'm not having the nt test anyways cos I wouldnt have the amino etc I will deal with whatever life throws at me head on x

Yes I agree fao there can be more risks to having a baby as you get older, but having said that everyone is different - you can be a young mum and have complications too. I have a few friends who had babies in their 40s and everything was fine I have been told I will be consultant led but that's due to my recurrent mcs.

Morning ladies!

Midwife appointment later today! So worried she's gonna think I'm wasting her time after the problems and getting put back by two weeks after her saying she only sees people at 8 weeks and I'm gonna be just over 6... So the EPU scan says :/.

Let's hope she's a nice one and will listen to my ramblings, millions of questions and entertain my excel spreadsheet trying to work out if 6 weeks is viable lol. I'm not a complete sad act ... Honest!

Hey mrst, go by your LMP not the dates from scan and tell the mw that you had the scan, my early scan with my DS put me back but my mw told me to still go by my LMP until my 12w scan, good luck x

Booked in for an early scan on Friday. Very nervous as not feeling like I did in the early days with my daughter! Trying not to worry and accept the fact that, what will be will be!

Appointment gone as well as could be expected. She could obviously offer me no reassurances what so ever . But filled out all the paper work and went through everything.

Next appointment for November 1st if all goes well. Also out me under consultant care... Brilliant lol!
