Got my scan date through - 16th October, which is also Father-in-law's 70th birthday. Am taking it as a good omen and, for the time being at least, am excited and less worried

Went for a private early scan yesterday and I'm measuring a week ahead so 9 weeks now.

Bean looks ok and could see heart beating away definitely made it feel more real
