May 2014 Mummies

Ooh I better check! I've only had a one from Tesco since I've been pregnant. Haven't got any in at the mo. Had some in a restaurant last week! Oops! Thank you for the warning. I nearly picked up some cheese at the fresh counter last week until I saw unpasturised on it! Must have been the only one there unpasturised and I went straight for it "ooh that one sounds nice!" Err no!!!

Ooh I know what you mean. On the other hand, I lived in France for a while - just think of all the French ladies eating all those cheeses, and most French cheese is not pasteurized. :)

Yeah that's true!

Ok so this is going to sound really stupid and I know it's way too early to be looking. I've got friends who have recently had children, so when you're there you see bits and pieces, but I didn't realise how much stuff you actually need to buy and just how expensive it is! It's quite scary! Ok, so I was browsing the wrong sites like Mamas and Papas - expensive much? But it's just hit me lol! Oh dear! Im really hoping one of my friends stops giving stuff to other people, like friends of friends as she doesn't know I'm pregnant yet! Haha xx

Checked the Philly and it says pasteurised milk so does that mean it's ok ?

Oh I know vic, I have lists and lists and a spreadsheet and it boggles the mind

Phew that's a relief I can still enjoy my bacon and philly bagal lol xx

Well at least you have lists and a spreadsheet! I'm still thinking this isn't happening! Haha x

I had parmesan last nite and after reading this checked it and it was unpasteurised is there anything to worry about :(

I'm worrying about the most ridiculous of things now! I have my midwife's apt when I'll be 8+5, but I keep reading that in my area you should have it at 10 weeks. The receptionist read my form and then looked for apts on the system, she do you think she made a mistake or is it okay?! I'm just really worried that when I show up for the midwife she's going to tell me off for coming in too early! Told you it was ridiculous...

The NHS leaflet I have says mw appointment will be booked between 8-10 weeks so I'm sure you're fine. Perhaps when they say 10 weeks they mean you should be seen by 10 weeks. X

Doubtful but just be aware if you start to feel icky that isn't a normal pregnant icky x

My sickness buggered off last week 'yay' but has been replaced with the tiredness. I'm exhausted within 30mins of getting up :(

Thursdays I need to walk lo 40mons to ballet then jump around for 30mins! Not only did I get soaked through but I've run out of cherryade so got a right old grump on this afternoon lol Hubby had best not forget to bring me some home or there will be trouble ;)

I wouldn't worry - my doctor surgery messed up and put me in at 6 weeks. The midwife rang and changed it to 8 weeks, so I'm sure they'd contact you if 8+5 is too early, but I can't see why it would be. They surely can't see everyone at exactly 10 weeks, it probably wouldn't work!!!

Thanks! It's as if I'm looking for new things to worry about everyday. Need to get a grip lol!

Got mine tomoz I'll be 10w, had my 1 with my DS at 8+6 (which ended up being 8+1 by my scan) and 8 with my first, didn't get that far with my ectopic and 2nd mc x

This sickness is getting worse it's constant more or less and now I feel like I have sick stuck in my throat it's rank , I've no appetite wat so ever , seriously thinking about getting a sea band thingy , I have to force my meals down even tho I don't feel like it but I'm starving at the same time it's so weird xx
