Sorry girls got a bit of an imbarressing question. Its been nearly 4 wks since I found out about the little miricle and since finding out we havnt made love. Apart from being extremley tired and irritable and just terrified it will cause a m/c. Really silly I know, but a few ladies on here have said that they have had a bleed after sex and its really put me off, its just not worth it (although we are missing it) OH being really understanding! I asked midwife and she wasnt really that helpful just said it was up to us?! Also they say it brings labour on and helps the cervix get ready, well I want mine as dry as poss for as long as poss (sorry). Anyway I guess I just want some reassurance and I know im prob going to give you all a good laugh, but didnt know who else to ask. x

I have no experience of bleeding after sex although I have read that some women experience this. I guess I'm lucky . All I really wanted to say (and I'm no expert) but when I was preg with my 1's, the MW said sex was definitely ok and not to worry at all. I think the only time it makes a difference to your cervix in that respect is when your body is gettting ready for labour already. x

Some ladies like myself , just stay away from it more for peace of mind than anything more medical!

Enjoy or rest up, I think if it's a sticky , it will stick anyway.

ive had bleeding after sex but, as i said on another thread, its prob because of another problem ive had with my cervix and not the pregnancy. but we were advised to wait until after 12 weeks but everything that i have read says that sex is completely safe usually during pregnancy.
if ur worried just wait until the first trimester is out the way, the likelihood is that if you did do it, you prob wouldnt enjoy it anyway, if its on your mind.
always other ways to be intimate in the mean time

ive miscarried that was my last pregnancy before this one i miscarried at 12 weeks and was advised on the pregnancy not to do it until ur past the 13 week stage anything after that you can do it. i was petrified bout not wanting to do it cos of another mc but i have done it since ive got to 23 almost an still a little fighter in there. try and relax and enjoy x

Thanks very much ladies. I think i'll wait until after 12 wk. Prob being over causious but its worth it and as you said i prob wouldnt enjoy it anyway! Id rather be safe than sorry! xx
