By thinkin the worst about whats happened to her ppl will give up hope eventually,we all should stay positive. Bring her home! I pray, if Scarlett was gone for a minute I cant imagine how the pain Id feel and the parents and Maddy need support, no matter what.

Forget the rubbish about who deserves how much attention, shes a child in need of support- and thank god shes got it.

just seen this post. wot gets me is that almost everyone knows the situation over these foreign places (taking children) and wot the hell were parents thinkin leaving thier children alone ANYTHING could of happened wot if the hotel caught on fire. i would never ever leave my child alone.
my sister took her lil girl (same age as mine) on holiday and this (so called friend ) was interested in kaylee (the child) so much it frightned my sister. her OH asked to leave her with this guy so they could have a meal, she sed no. When maddy went missin he went home and appologised to my sister.
i do think maady is still alive, i cant imagine wot that lil girl is goin thru, her life is already ruined for yrs to come shes gonna remember this all because of a mistake by thier parents. I do wish she'd come home to her brother and sister

When I joined the forum I saw people had the ribbons in their avatars and although I know a little picture isn't going to bring her home, I chose to put it in mine too purely because I want to show my support to the parents of Maddy and other parents who have experienced a similar situation.

I do think they were in the wrong to leave the children alone, but that doesn't mean I don't feel incredibly bad that they had to learn what is a very hard lesson in such a tragic way.

I agree with MaryMary - let's think positive.

still keeping every thing crossed for little maddie its still so heart breaking and I think avatars and emails are the best things - as its starting to be forgotten and by keeping them its reminding people, we don’t want little maddie to be forgotten like the little boy that would be 18 now taken when he was a baby.

Having finally plucked up the courage to read this post (i knew at least some of it would upset me) I was even more shocked to find someone making it their personal mission to offend.

Thank god 99.9% of the population still see the importance of having hope. Personally I really cant see how we can blame anyone from her parents and family to the public to the media for not wanting to give up on her.

I know some sick and twisted parents have done things like this in the past, but I truly believe that although Maddy's parents were a little stupid leaving the kiddies alone, they love their children and wouldn't do such a thing. If I were in their position and was asked that - I'm not sure how I would cope.

I didn't pay much attention, but from what I heard it was at a Press Conference and Maddy's Dad replied saying pretty much 'of course not'.

I just think it was such an insensitive and thoughtless thing to say. Even if they did have a hand in it, they were hardly going to admit to it, so there was no point.
