romantic weekend away! help!!

its almost my anniversary and me and my DH want to go away for 2 nights. We dont really want to spend too much money (less than £200 for 2 nights in a hotel) and dont mind where in the country it is. Does any one know any good hotel in nice areas for that type of price?

Iv tried looking on google but its really hard to find places when you dont have a location lol.

The New Forest, Ferndown is lovely, OH and I went to a hotel for two nights one Valentines weekend it cost us £149 for two nights! That was for bed and breakfast mind you not including dinner. And it was a few years ago so prices may have changed.

agree with jaidybaby that new forest is perfect for a romantic weekend, lots of accommodation for all budgets. We have stayed in some lovely bed and breakfasts there and some of the hotels are lovely.

also try lastminute.com, they have a section for country hotels and usually offer good rates.

We went to York for our honeymoon last year, was nice there and lots of things you can do... as well as nice and quiet if you just want it to be you two!

You can get loads of deals at chain hotels (Hilton etc) for that price, I've always found lastminute.com helpful.

OH and I spent a lovely break at an independent called Oxfordshire inn by Oxford (google for website) They had really good deals.

It's a fab idea to get away for a couple of days, I love my mini breaks!
