Lump in Armpit

Hi Girls,

I have found a small pea sized lump in my right armpit. My mum and my OH think it is a swollen gland. Do you think I could have mastitis (SP??)? My breasts are not sore at all. Has anyone else had this at all? Thanks in advance.

If your boobs aren't sore and you're feeling fine then I don't think it's mastitis, is the lump tender?

I had one when I was younger, turned out to be a blocked hair follicle. I would def go to the doctors though hun, just to have it checked

It is tender yeah. When I touch it and sometimes when I move my right arm. I have my week post natal next Tuesday so I will mention it to the doc if it is still there.

I've had this quite a few times, it was infected / blocked sweat glands for me. I got it because the jacuzzi at my gym wasn't kept clean enough!

If it was mastitus you would feel like you had a bad flu and your boob would be really tender with red/swollen patches. I'd get it checked with your doctor if I was you
