Lube...

I want to get some lube to make the TTC journey a bit more slippery

anyone else researched this? have any good makes or tips? xxx

I've never used lube when ttc but the above is meant to be good and made to aid ttc. x

Hi!

I have to use lube also, I use the conceive + from boots...think it was about £14.50 ish so a bit more money than cheap lubs but all the information i found on the net said that normal lubs can stop the little ones from swimming and the concive + lube says that it help them to swim

but... if it helps then that would be good, Liam hates having sex with me when i am not 100% completely turned on. makes him feel wrong inside and normally he would stop and just leave me be rather than do something he knows i am not enjoying. He didnt enjoy having to 'finish' last night so i have no choice i have to get some

£18 is that for the conceive + WOW i thought £14.50 was a lot....

I will try to do some more searching later today and see what i can find as there must be ones cheaper that are just as good!

Yeah my bf is the same, and i was a bit worried also when i first found out that lube can kill or make it harder for them to swim as the though of doing the deed each day without it was soooooo scary! x

Rubbish! i got something called 'preseed' which is supposed to be really really good (only 9 applications of it though) after that i will be getting Conceive + if i havent conceived already by then!

Preseed is supposed to be very good, I know of a few ladies on here (can't remember their names) who've tried it and said it was good. It can't hurt to have a go.

Yeah I think they are the only two (preseed and conceive +) that are ok when trying, all the others I have looked at say they have a natural PH balance but what they dont tell you is it means natural when you are not ovulation and it also does not tell you that they can find it hard to swim in those kinds of lubes....amazing what you can find out when spending hours and hours surfing the net hey girls!

I went for the coceive + as I did read a few reviews saying something about a chemical reaction (not sure exactly what they mean by that) when using the preseed but if you are ok on it I should imagine they are just as good as each other xx

looks really good, really natural and not too pricey (30 quid for 2 lots, delivered is pretty good in my book)

so i have got some to try... i think i am going to wait to use the Pre-seed until the witch comes (if she comes) because its just a bit expensive to use willy nilly lol

after all this i will probably get a positive in a months time anyway... but hey ho worth a try (and has made me feel better about not being able to control anything IFSWIM)

Is it that you are not 100% turned on or are just a "dryer" lady down there ifykwim?

Also, I know it might sound gross but, good old saliva does the trick too x

i think i am just a bit drier than most, Liam will usually give me a good tongue lashing (lol) and definitely do his duty bless him but i just dry up after a while... we both enjoy long, sensual sex and i think (especially as i am getting older) its just harder and harder to maintain the level of moisture we both want from it

plus when we are doing it every night (which we are at the moment) then no sometimes i am not 100% turned on, i need a lot of care and foreplay for that and there just arent enough hours in the day!!

Saliva - I would do some research about that as some website say not to use it as it can kill sperm!!!!

You sound very much like me haha! hence why I mentioned being dryer!

It can really start to hurt when you are at it all the time and don't have the wetness that sometimes you just really do need!

I have no advice on what lubes to use unfortunately. There was a very good one I used to use years ago and I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called It used to come in a "hand-soap"-like bottle lol. If I remember I shall post it for you. It wasn't as expensive as the others you have mentioned and is also very much water-based... ie no major chemicals etc in it to kill off any of the little swimmers etc. Don't know if that helps at all? xxx

saliva might kill sperm but it certainly dont make it taste any better does it ladies :blergh:

heheeh yes any friendly water-based lubes are good for me because i am allergic to latex and some lubes just affect me in quite the wrong way!

Very good point actually. It "can" kill the sperm due to the bacteria in it BUT found this which may be of use?
