I had a midwife appointment this morning and as my platelet count has been a little low during my pregnancy I have a blood test every time I see the midwife. The results from the last one I had, she told me today, was 109.
This is alot lower than the time before and she says if the results from the one I had today come back lower than 100 then she's going to call me and I may have to go into hospital for more tests and to see a specialist.
Has anyone else had this?
Also, when I was telling my dad about it and saying that it may make it harder to have an epidural (which I was really hoping for if the pain gets too much towards the end of labour) he said "Ohh you coward!"
I know he was probably just teasing but it got to me a bit and made me feel a bit crap! But why should I feel bad about not really wanting to go through loads of pain! I bet he wouldn't say no if it was the other way round!!
