Loose stools

Just investigated a nasty whiff emanating from the moses basket and my poor boy has a loose bottom . Its gone from the seedy clay like normality to sort of thick make-up foundation consistency but still yellow, no blood or mucus. It stinks!!! His temp is normal and he's still feeding and alert, he's not worrying his tummy or pulling up his legs.

I'll give it a few hours if it remains his only symptom and he gets enough fluid. Some sites are saying it's normal every now and then but I would have thought any diarrhoea isn't right? xxxxxxxx

Henry does this quite a bit. Sometimes it's like liquid, others it's a bit thicker. Totally normal xx

Is he on formula? I've heard that changes the poos?

Yeah he's mainly formula but gets some ebm too, am expressing his breakfast now. Breast pump has developed a squeak though lol which is slightly embarrassing

Josh's poops vary too. Sometimes liquid and sometimes avbit thicker. And quite often it stinks too lol. I don't think you need to worry. As long as he seems his normal self, eating, sleeping, wet nappies and poopy nappies. xx

E's poos vary consistency every day and she is formula fed.

Theo's are a sludgy consistency and he is purely breast fed and my god his stinks. His trumps are so smelly too.

He's just gone up to 2 ebm's a day cos he's query lactose intolerant so re-introducing it slowly so as not to make him sick again.

Figured out the breast pump wasn't attached properly lol

Its normal, Jake went through that phase, used to smell like rotten cheese with a hint of vinegar and looked like scrambled egg lol

Since having E I have not been able to even look at a chicken korma let alone eat one!

Oh yes her bum resembles an ice cream machine when she gets going!! Lol xx
