My OH just rang me from work. He works for a grass cutting company who get contracts for all the housing association houses and some council houses. Anyway some little shit has just shot him in the face with a BB gun...4 times! He said there was 2 boys aged about 10 running around an estate shooting cats with BB guns before shooting him! First time he told them to clear off but then as he was cutting the grass they just shot him 3 times in the face! Anyway he rang the police and quite rightly so...after all he doesnt get paid to have undisiplined children shooting ball bearings near his eyes. He said the police were already in the area (says it all)and got there quick and the kids were running round the police car giving them abuse and even the parents came out of their houses doing the same! One of the kids was being looked after by a girl barely older than him and the other ones mum came out and said "Oh well you know what kids are like, i couldnt get it off him so left him to it." WHAT? TRY A BIT BLOODY HARDER! What the hell is a 10 year old doing with a BB Gun anyway??? Makes me sick. I dont believe in smacking children, but FFS you dont just leave them to do what they like without disiplining them at all! Do they not teach their kids not to disrespect other people??? It isnt suprising that there is so many stabbings when some kids are being bought up by lazy parents and think its ok to shoot an adult in the face. When i was young i wouldnt have dreamt of disrespecting an adult like that!

BTW i am talking about the individuals who live on council estates who think the law doesnt apply to them and have no intention of bringing up decent children. Not the lovely, good mums and people who live on council estates! Just the scum lol!

Yeh hes ok, just fuming! He said one was so close to his eye...i mean for goodness sake. I think he was more mad at the way the police treated it. They were just a bit defeated as if it happens all the time.

Sorry but if my kid had a BB gun and was shooting anything live LET ALONE A PERSON I would take the gun and shoot them on the arse with it!!! What need does a 10year old have with a BB gun! They hurt like hell! Im not a violent person but jezez!!!! Grrrr I would be so angry!!!

OMG - that is AWFUL. I work for a HA and I would suggest to your OH that he makes an official compaint about the behaviour to the housing officer responsible for the area. This would be covered under the anti-social behavious aspect of their tenant agreement.

I mean - I have heard about some sh*tty behaviour before but ffs!!!!!!
