thank you everyone, she's the best thing ever

i'm so pleased i used the birthing pool as my hospital had just finished refurbishing all its labour ward and things so the birthing pool room was all brand new and i was the second person to give birth in it and it was lovely!
it was a really deep, circular tub with a step you could lean over at one end and it kept the water at a certain height so you could keep the water running without it overfilling which was great because the water wouldn't go cold either!
it also had lights at the bottom so i had the room lights off with just the pool lights on, it was like a mini spa, was so relaxing!
i don't think i could of had her any other way!
