Length/ timescale of FET cycle

I was just wondering what the timescale is for a FET cycle. What meds are taken when etc. Anyone Know? Thank you

Hi Jade, I had a medicated FET cycle and my treatment started on cd 21

Cd21 Start Norethisterone pills
Cd34 Down reg consultation... stop Norethisterone... start Buselerin injections

Cd1 day 4 of Buselerin injections
Cd8 Scan... start evorel patches
Cd20 Scan... double up patches
Cd21 last Buselerin injection!
Cd22 Start progesterone pessaries, estradiol tablets and continue patches
Cd29 Transfer day!

8dp5dt BFP
14dp5dt OTD BFP

8w 1d pregnant baby scan and can stop pessaries, patches and tablets!

Def worth it!

I've been told to start norethisterone in 2 weeks- so 1st October for 10 days, then on cd1 I've got to start the pill and then he mentioned injections, pessaries and gel.... No idea why I have to take the pill? The nurses will speak to use about all the meds but I'm intrigued as to why I have to take the pill.

My clinic said they use norethisterone instead of the pill as ladies were complaining of side effects but not sure why they've asked you to use both in your treatment... I read somewhere that youre only meant to be on Norethisterone up to 10days but I went way passed that as the clinic was so busy and didnt want period to come sooner!

I felt the FET cycle did go on forever as appts were so far apart and using the same drugs for a long time! I really did have enough when I caved and tested as was feeling really pessimistic by that point and wanted it all to stop but what do you know it worked!
