Omg the worst ever last night and always in my left leg i was screaming and crying any tips?

I've been getting that too :( I read that it might be calcium deficiency so I've been having more milk. Since having more milk I've not had any cramps!!

My poor husband is very happy now he's not getting woken up by me going "ouch cramp cramp!!"

I have been having this, and my leg is so bruised the following day, where it was so bad. I have been have tonic water before bed and just a tiny bit of salt on my dinner at night. (i have low blood pressure, wouldn't recommend it if yours is high)

Not sure if it has helped but since then it has easied off. Bananans are also meant to be good for help prevent cramps.

I dont think it is lack of calcium as i have lots of milk and cheese i do have a lw blood pressure and hav milk bfore i go to bed last night i didnt have anything different to eat

if you have cut salt out your diet then the build up of lactic acid will cause more cramps o try having a little salt with your dinner or cooking with it xx

I just had the two most amazing cramps this morning, at the moment I woke up and moved legs, (OH came in from work at 6am and slammed the door, so his fault).

And I have been drinking water like a fish lately and no problem with cramps since 16/17 weeks I think.
Last night after getting up twice to wee, I was thirsty again as usual and decide to just have a sip instead of a drink as wanted some sleep, and so this morning I was really thirsty and hey ho - big old cramps!

So I think its lack of water / fluids - just wanted to tell you all

Oooooh that's good to know JJ! I don't get cramps often but whenever I stretch my legs they threaten to cramp! Only way I prevent them from doing so is by flexing my toes up towards my shins! Works everytime!

My sister takes quinine tablets for leg cramps. I'm not sure if you are able to take it when pregnant but tonic water contains quinine and I've never heard that you can't have tonic water so maybe a couple of glasses of that?? (minus the gin!!)
