Leaking fluid...

Morning all,

I've mentioned this in our Tri3 thread but this morning I was sat downstairs & felt a really sharp pain right up my foof, followed by a trickle of fluid that I felt run down my leg. I've had these pains on and off for a week and have been losing creamy CM shortly after I get them but this was clear and more fluidy as opposed to CM if that makes sense? I know waters are meant to smell different and I had a little whiff but it was nothing too out of the ordinary...

The pains are very sharp and take my breath away and when I've been out walking, they do make me stop - is this all to do with baby engaging or is there a chance you think it could be some of my waters?

I have been feeling pressure on my pelvis too which I thought was baby engaging but now I'm not sure if this is part of it too... any thoughts?

I have been experiencing a simular thing. I have been losing fluid but only in very small amount, Its more watery than CM and more clear. Does this sound simular?

I havent been experiencing pains too regularly and so came to terms with the fact that its probably just baby putting a bit of extra pressure on my bladder... Doesn't sound very nice but could just be a little pee.

If the pains you are getting are regular though i would check with the midwife just to be sure or call the labour ward if shes not available... Better to be safe than sorry and they are supposed to be there to reassure us!

When I went to the hospital last week because I was having pains, that's how it started, I was getting really sharp pains in foof that like you say take your breath away and then I leaked fluid but there was a biggish wet patch on my trousers so that's why I thought it could be waters... Have you done the pad thing?? Lie down for half hour and see if it happens again!! I went and got it checked as I would rather know for definite that it was wee or waters! Turns out it was just wee but maybe you should give MW a call see what she says!

I think I'll put a pad on Kel and see what happens, I haven't lost anymore but was just a bit worried as it was a proper trickle of fluid as opposed to the CM I've been losing previously with the pains...

Have also got really bad indigestion for the third day... haven't suffered with it at all so far but last three days it's unbearable

Try remegel, I've been taking them and they work way better than enything else I've tried

I have had a bit of this Jenny, the pains and feeling that baby's head is pressing down.
I have also dribbled wee a couple of times (nice) and once, went to the loo, and realized i had a big wet patch in my pants. It was clear, and I couldn't tell from smelling it if it was wee or not either.
I would mention it to MW too if you feel it might be something happening, I think mine is definitely bladder related from pressure though xx
