Labour Signs? Help!

I have had pains just under my bump and lower back since tuesday on and off, I thought I needed a number 2 but went for one (eventually)(I thought I had constipation) and pains didnt totally go. I have been for 3 numbers 2's today and the last one was more like a diahorrea. I am really sorry if it is far too much information but I was just wondering If this could be a sign of labour coming. I have suddenly felt really 'alive'and my bump keeps on going hard, I dont know if this is just baby or braxton hicks. I am 39 weeks tomorrow,(but everyone has said they think little man is going to be early).

Any info would be brilliant

That's how it started for me!! Oooh - how exciting!

or maybe really bad gut ache! Thats what I have been getting. then I get period type pains and really sudden back ache, had Braxton Hicks about a month ago. And I can feel him heading my neather regions my hips keep hurting.

But with my last one I didn't think I was in labour until I got to the hospital and was 6 cm dilated! The hospital told me if i'm not in pain, I'm not in labour (I showed them!) if it continues have a bath! if gut ache hurt 100 x more then more than likely labour!
