Kiddicare car seats

My son is 5 months and we need to get a second car seat. We've decided to go for a group0-1 seat so that it lasts until he's about 4 and he still needs rear facing for a few more months.

Looking on the kiddicare web site there are some really cheap ones, has anyone ever heard of a nania brand and why are they so much cheaper (about £35)

Would you buy a cheap one or do you think spending more is better?

I would personally be a bit wary about buying such a cheap car seat. The car seats do look ok but they don't seem to be very padded and the base looks a bit flimsy. I have posted a two links of a Britax and a Nania car seat so you can see an example of the quality difference.

This one looks alright actually but I still think that you probably get what you pay for and a slightly more expensive one (like the Britax) would be safer

That's what we were thinking. We were just so surprised to see such cheap seats. think we'll go for a britax one, still £40 cheaper than the cheapest in mothercare.

nania are quite good i think, we were looking at getting one. i know a few people that have them
