Just thought I'd share this tip, something so simple but would never have thought of it:

Put ice cubes in a hot water bottle and a bit of cold water, works a treat on the back of the neck or bottom of back!!

Gutted I took my fan to the charity shop to make room for the baby and been to Asda and Tesco tonight and both have sold out!

That's a fab idea! Could do with that on my feet! They burn up and are so irritable aswel as my legs:/ but oh no, what a bummer about fan! I bought one a month ago, in anticipation for any hot day we may get I knew it'd be a life saver!! I purchased mine from my local home bargains. Or try argos?? :) xx

We have a tall oscillating tower one that I'd left at our old house and didn't think I'd need, luckily mother in law still hasn't managed to sell the house yet so I went around yesterday and claimed it back, was still where I left it in an empty bedroom so pleased!

That's a great idea about the water bottle my neck is so hot all the time. x

I need to buy a fan too! When I got home from work yesterday I wrapped lunchbox ice-packs in a tea-towel and put round my neck - was lovely! I thinks it's neck and wrists that if you keep cool make your whole body feel a bit cooler?! Xxx

I managed to get a fan from Argos this afternoon, although thankfully the temperature has dropped!

We had our preparation for parenthood class at the hospital yesterday for 3 hours in a stuffy room with no air con it was horrible, all the pregnant women looked like they were about to faint!!

I'm sick of my hands always being really hot!
