So im a new mum my son is coming up to 14 weeks old. I breastfeed him only. He started feeding every 2 hours for the first 3 months ish..then for about a week he slept from 8.30pm til 4 or 5 am without waking for a feed, then after that week hes gone back to feeding every 2 hours..just a lil confused to why hes gone back to 2 hours..has this happened with anyone else? Also when I first had my son I could express milk but never used it because I was happy just feeding from the breast..now hes older I would like my mum and family members to have him for days or maybe nights but I cant express anymore..dont know why...
just wondering...

My lo is 9mths and has had a few phases where he would revert back to frequent feeding i think its normal for babies to do this especially just as you start enjoying full night sleeps again lol. Could be growth spurt/teething/illness or just a phase of frequent waking.
As for expressing now your milk supply has settled down and regulates to your baby's need it will be harder to express at first, just keep pumping and your milk should increase to allow you to store some.
