Hi girls. Some of you may know I've been feeling pregnant... with a not even 5 month old it isn't ideal. But what will be will be and if I am I will be terrified but truly blessed as I tried for my daughter for 2 and a half years. I did a cheap test yesterday morning and a faint line appeared. I did a clear blue this morning and it was negative. Feel really confused. This was yesterday's test, maybe it's an evap? Xxx

Clearblue aren't as sensitive as the cheaper pink dye tests so I would disregard that one for now.
I can definitely see a line there hun! You're pregnant!
If you can wait a couple of days to retest that would be best so your hcg levels have a chance to rise, it'll give you a clearer result.

I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant and my daughter is 7 months old. We were trying almost 3.5 years for her so I totally feel you! x

Are u scared flick? I'm Litterally terrified. I was stupid and totally forgot antibiotics canceled put the pill! :( . My partners being supportive buy I know our family's are gonna go absolutely mad. I nearly died in my last pregnancy so I really am quite scared of doing it all again with such a young baby xxx

I have to admit I'm nervous about it. I have a 4 year old son too and there will be 14 months between my daughter and this one.
My hubby and I were NTNP but after it taking so long we really didn't expect to fall so quick.

How did you nearly die? :( Hun, that's terrible :(

I had a massive bleed during both births and needed emergency help both times. First time I had GBS as well. Again, I can relate :( It's awful!

Well I had hyperemesis for 29 weeks and at one point I was so malnourished and dehydrated I was rolling on the floor hullusinating that someone was taking me away. My midwife ignored it so my oh carried me to the doctors who called an ambulance and I was so I'll the consultant thought if I'd waited 24 more hours for rehydration I would have been to late. It looks 6 litres of fluid to get me to a safe level. I had 9 litres in total. Then at 31 weeks I developed a heart problem.it was beating almost 300 bpm at one point so I was high risk of heart attack. So had to be induced and monitored closely. My d consultant advised me not to get pregnant for at least 2 years xxx

Ahh Becky how scary!! From one side it must be amazing to get a bfp so easily after your struggle last time , that's what I always hope will happen to me haha. But that is so scary about all the health problems you had! At least you know when to get fluids for the hg now but must be such a scary thought with a young baby too. Was the heart prob just pregnancy related? Xx

Sorry to hear you had such an awful time.

I am the world's worst line spotter and I see the line - without my glasses and without enlarging the picture.

I'd retest in a few days and see what occurs. Digi's aren't the most sensitive tests.

No two pregnancies are the same but if you have similar issues this time at least the MW will know and things can be treated much earlier.

Best of luck.

X

If it help, I got pg when my oldest was 4 months. Totally unexpected and so, so scary. I was very lucky with my labour but my pregnancy was very difficult on my body physically in that my bump was enormous and it was difficult for me to move. Totally different thing of course, and nowhere near as serious as the problems in your first but my point is it's totally worth it. Your body knows what it's doing so the labour is easier.

Admittedly during pg and afterwards is difficult, getting the balance right is a challenge but my big boy has adapted so well and so quickly, he's been a star. Between sort of 9 and 14 months, they grow up so quickly so it will be perhaps easier than you think. Just be prepared for literally no sleep ;)

Congratulations. I think you're pregnant too. I see a 2nd line, although faint.

The line is very pink so unlikely to be an evap.

A girl I knew from college had a baby and then got pregnant with identical twins a month later. She had a 10 month old and two newborns completely on her own after her bf left her whilst pregnant with the twins. She had help from family and friends but still must have struggled with three under a year old. But she coped. Because that's what you have to do. As scary as it may be now, things have a habit of falling into place and working out for the best ;)

Your heart was at 300bpm?!!

I see a line thats no evap x

Well ladies I tested today with a frer and it was negative. Can't help but feel abit sad now. Stupid woman! Xxx

I'd keep an eye on it and test again in a couple of weeks though hun. You know how weird pregnancy tests can be. It's unlikely to get a false positive. More likely to get a false negative.

Gosh id of said that was a bfp!
Sorry ur still kinda in limbo! Hope you get a clear answer very soon huni xxxx

I can clearly see two lines also & i am normally rubbish at line spotting! I didn't think you could get false positives though :/

You can get a false positive if for example the test is out of date, you're ipon certain medication, or you wait too long to look at the lines. It's unusual, but it can happen.

It's much more likely to get a false negative where it tells you that you're not pregnant when you are because there just wasn't enough hormone in the urine at that specific time (not your first wee of the day, too early to tell...)
