[HS1985]

Hi

We got our positive 2 days ago, EDD 20th June. It all feels a bit surreal. It's a massive secret (apart from hubs obviously) and my docs passed me to the midwife service who will get back to me in 7 days after. Does anyone else feel it's all a bit topsy turvy that your life has changed but day to day it's like nothing has happened? This is my first.

Congratulations! Oh I feel the same, I feel like I should be doing something but I can’t! I felt a little bit better Wednesday as I had my midwife appt but now it’s back to waiting and looking for symptoms and bump again!

Considered it a lot and I keep changing my mind! It's £79 where I am and I worry massively that I have one and all is fine then something goes wrong afterwards, but I'd also rather know before the 12 weeks...I'm 8weeks tomorrow...dilemma!!

My midwife booking is 31st

Ooh Thursday CMcDx. That's not long at all.

I know I want one (I even know what date I want it on!) but I'm too scared to actually book it. I need someone to shake me and tell me im being ridiculous!

Its £79 here too princesssaxy. It is a lot of money, but I can't wait another 6 weeks. My OH will be out of the country by the 12 week mark too, so if it's not good news, I'd rather him be there for it.

As for scan, yes I am for various reasons. it will cost £95 where I am but I think it will be worth it for my own piece of mind - as well helping the OH get his head around it (despite it being a joint decision to try and us been doing so for 6 months it seems to be quite the shock for some reason now it's happened!).

At the end of the day, yes it is a lot of money but if it will make you feel better then do it. Also, from what I understand of the baby malarkey, the costs add up pretty rapidly, You'll just be getting a head start

I've got mine through NHS because of my previous MC. Worth asking them just for reassurance. X

I'm feeling bit let down if I'm honest as I've had no contact from anyone yet regarding booking etc and I know I need low dose aspirin for my previous stillbirth and also my thyroid meds increasing as there's increased risk of miscarriage till it's done! Rang twice n just get told will ring me!

Feel exhausted this morning despite a long long sleep! Had to do the food shop and I couldn't bare to look at any of the food ...husband says do you fancy such and such on Monday and I was like I don't care just get me out of here before I vomit!!

Yep I felt nauseous from day dot but I’ve not actually feel sick! I’m starving but don’t fancy any food because I feel sick, it’s such a weird feeling!

Hi Everyone, I currently feel like I have done a million ab exercises and I have a stretching pulling feeling on both sides of abdomen. Has anyone else got this too? It’s not painful it’s like an ache that comes and goes xx

Yup, had some pains this afternoon that felt like period aches, tried to sleep them off!

Yup, had some pains this afternoon that felt like period aches, tried to sleep them off!

Me to .. I get random cramps daily.. day and night. Feel like period cramps sometimes.. which scares me
